How to Compress ISO PSP Game to CSO
Hey, guys what’s up? Today I'm going to show you how to compress an ISO File to CSO DAX or JSO I believe. But there is this program that you can use from PSP Hacks the link to this will be in the video description to the right. So just go to the right and click on more info.
As you can see here we go. Now, it converts to CSO DAX and JSO. Now, when you're on this page just scroll a little bit to the bottom and hit Download, Save the file press Okay. And now it will download. And now I have it saved to a folder and here we have it. Now, right click and extract the files. And you have this here. Now, just run the EXE if you're on Vista you have USC on just allow it and sign a virus have test it out, I used it for a week now and it is pretty good.
Where are we—after it’s done, you will get an icon like this to your desktop. Open out the program and here we go. And now I'm going to compress the ISO to CSO. Now the compression depends on the game. Different games means different you know percentage of compression. So you can’t just claim that out to you guys, if it doesn’t really compressing it’s because of the game. So I'm just going to use the ISO to CSO. Now, I just hit here which is kind of like browse. And now I have Test Drive Unlimited which I’ve just backed up from UMD Dumper.
So I'm just going to use that as an example. Use that press Okay and now the Output File and now you can browse this in move it to another folder and it will save it there. So you can see the, you can check this if you want to delete the Input File after the conversion. And you can check this if you want to browse the Output Folder after compression but we know it’s on our desktop so we don’t really need to do that. And now, here we have our compression level. So you can have it two, three, four, to a nine and I'm just going to use Best Compression and now density which is for the audio but we’re just not really good and this with that.
And we’re just going to hit compress and the Control Panel comes up. So it says compressed, ISO convert to Version 1 by Booster. Total file size it’s about 1.5 gigs. So just wait for it to compress it will give you the compression percent and it compresses it to 55%. So I'm just going to wait for this to hurry up and compress the file. And I'm just going to pause it. All right, well when the file is done compressing—the Control Panel or the Command Prompt. Sorry, when this close in there and it just bring you back to the PSP ISO compressor.
And as you can see have the compressed ISO now. I just want to show you how much it compressed it. I'm just going to go to the Properties and now this is 961 megabytes and the ISO is 1.43 gigs now that is a big difference. So we mainly have like half a gig or even more than half a gig. So yeah, about 100 megabytes, 80 megabytes compressed. So yeah, thank you so much to watch this video and I hoped this really helped you. So yeah, thank you and peace out, hope you have a great compressing time I guess, peace.
