Hey, guys. Hello and welcome to Geek Comp Nerd’s Computer Zone Show. Today, I'm going to be talking about how you can compress normal mp3 files around five to six MB plus mp3 files into much smaller file size which will be around 1 MB and below so you can have a normal MB file compressed into a KB file. Now the great part of that is that there will be no lose of quality. So your song will sound exactly the same except it will be smaller so you can store much more songs in a much smaller space.
Now in order for this to be achieved you got have a program called MP3 to ringtone Gold which is available on my website for download. So if you have it across to GeekCompNerd.tk click on download depot. You’ll be shown this kind of paste something like this and you just click on MP3 to ringtone gold 7.27 and the download should begin. So once you’ve got it downloaded, installed and registered of course open it up you’ll be shown with this kind of interface.
Now what we have here is one file of mine which I want to compress. Now this file is 9.35 MB. Now I really don’t want a file that big but I’ll also don’t want it to have lots of quality when I compress it. So I click on big MP3 to small, click on the add button and choose my file that I want to compress, there we go. Choose it, choose my output part and say convert all. So it’s going to start converting. It shows the progress by down here. You can obviously play the song also if you have lots of files that you want to add and compress. You can just delete them all out of the list. You can choose some settings if you want to. Do I prefer to leave all default settings as they are and yeah that’s about it.
So you just wait for your compression to be complete and once it’s complete it will give you a little message saying that and it will open up a new window showing your file, alright. Now here is our file that we have compressed and if we just drag over it you can see it becomes 1.4 MB, what a great compression. I mean from almost 10 MB it’s got it down to 1.4 MB. Now 10 MB I mean it’s not normal file size for a song, normal file size is the song that are on five to six MB and if you compress those and obviously your new compress file will be in KB. They are on 700 KB or so.
So it’s a really good program as you can see. It also says 64 MB, three mobile phones can support more than 250 songs. Now, 64 MB can only store about 10 to 11 songs in it although after using this program and compressing your file you can store around 250.
So it’s a great program to use, go check it out, give it a shot. Please leave comment, rate and subscribe on my videos. If you have any questions please email me at support@GeekCompNerd.tk or visit my website at GeekCompNerd.tk and once again thank you for watching and peace.
