Inside foot control is the one used probably most in the game. The idea behind it is you use the inside of your foot which is the most safest area, this way it's the easiest part of your foot to control a ball with and most people certainly in the armature game use this part. As the ball comes in, soften your foot to began control with the inside, and then you got a nice easy pass. Watch again as the ball comes in soften the touch with the inside and play it out of your feet.
Here's a simple drill you can do. Alright you are ready Bridge. Control inside and play inside, soften touch and play. Remember to use the same foot. You are ready Bridge, remember just soften the first touch so it gets laid down to your foot so you can play the next pass soft and play, beautiful Bridge well done, quickly and now you are going to use your left foot, touch it and play it. Great!
If your first touch is clean it makes pass him to a team mate so much easier, good! Finish it off Bridge two more, control and pass, good. Now, a lefty to finish, nice soft touch cushion it, cushion it and play it well done.
Alright, Ariana, let's go, ready and go. Touch it, clean that's beautiful, well done can use that left foot now. So we are always working both feet control and play, because don't stretch for that ball keep it close to your feet, you want to get into any tackles, touch it and play it, good control and play. Difficult ball control it and play it to a team mate well done, last one Ariana, control that's great stuff.
It's a couple of really important things to remember when controlling a ball with inside of the foot. Make sure you get inline with the ball and make sure your touch is soft, this way the ball sits nicely for the next pass, practice makes perfect.
