Hey YouTubers! So, some of you have been asking me how I am able to get my iPod displayed on my computer like this and how I’m able to control it. The program is called VEENCY alright. So, your iPod Touch or iPhone will need to be jail broken if you want to do this so you’re going to open up Cydia alright and mine takes a while to load up so I’m just going to pause the video here and I’ll continue once it fully loads.
Alright hey guys so my Cydia has fully loaded and once it opens, you’re going to go to Search and you’re going to search for package called VEENCY V-E-E-N-C-Y alright. It is from Telephoreo, I’m not sure it’s on a networking section. So, you’re going to click on it. You’re going to click Install and then install, confirm, all that stuff, alright. So, once you do that, you’re done with your iPod or iPhone. That is all you need to do alright. Then to get it to work on your computer, you’re going to go into Google and search for Real VEENCY right here alright. Let me zoom in for you.
Alright Real VEENCY okay so then once you searched that, you should get a link right here called Real VEENCY, Real VEENCY remote control software. You’re going to click on Download right over here. Okay and then you can just download the free edition, download and use. Let’s wait for it to open. You don’t need to enter in any of these stuff, you just proceed to Download. If you’re on Windows, you’ll download. Over here, they have Linux, Solar 7 HPUX1111i, VEENCY free edition viewer for Windows, same thing is up here. This is the installer including both server and viewer. This is just the standalone viewer so this is the main when you want to do those. So, go ahead and click Download for the executable not the ZIP Archive, that’ll just you know clutter up your computer. Go ahead and click Download Accept Download Run alright and I’m just going to let this go.
Alright so when it completely downloads, you are going to select Run and then you should get Installer Wizard, Setup Wizard, probably it didn’t show up. Here we go so you’re going to click yes then you’re going to click Next. I accept, Next, Next, Next and then you know it’ll all install it.
Okay. Then once you installed it, you’re going to All Programs, scroll down to Real VEENCY, then you’re going to select VEENCY server for service mode and you’re going select to configure VEENCY Service, okay that wasn’t it. Run VEENCY server I’m sorry, so you’re going to go to Real VEENCY. VEENCY server for user mode, configure user mode settings maybe yeah. First, you’re going to click Select Configure. We’re going to enter in a password. Let’s see, anything else. Alright, you’re going to make sure this is Accept Connections on port save JAVA Viewer via HTTP on port. You’re going to make sure those two are selected and you’re going to make sure the first one is on 5900 second is 3600 and then 5800. Alright then you go and click Add and then you are going to put in your IP address on your iPod or iPhone is running on. Just figure that out. You’re going to go to it and close this.
You’re going to go to your iPod or iPhone and you are going to go to Settings alright. Once you go to Settings, you’re going to go to WiFi, you’re going to select it and you’re going to click this arrow right here. It will pop up your IP address. That is what you are going to enter right here. So, you’re going enter there. You’re going to press OK then you’re going to click Apply and then OK. Then what you’re going to do is you’re going to go to All Programs, Real VEENCY, VEENCY Viewer and then Run VEENCY Viewer alright. And then you’re going to click OK and then it’ll ask you, it’ll say, a pop up will come up on your iPhone saying, you know, it wants to connect something like that, you’re going to click Accept and then it will pop up here. You’ll get this VEENCY icon over here and you just control like you would your iPod with your finger to, you know, scroll to a page, you hold then left click and drag alright.
To select a app, left click it alright. To go back to the home screen, right click. And if you want to lock it, you press the Middle button or the Scroll button just like that. You select it again, alright just like that. It’s a very good ,program very easy to use, works great if you’re making videos like this where you don’t have a good camera to record both your iPhone or iPod and your desktop so that’s how you get VEENCY.
