I’m going to show you the fastest and easiest way to download videos from YouTube directly to your computer. Once you have it on your computer you’ll be able to play these videos in your windows media player convert it to your iPod or iPhone or even you MP3 player.
The first thing you want to do is grab the video URL from YouTube by highlighting and copying the URL. Once you have the URL you need are you free utility called tubetilla and you can get it at TubeTilla.com. Once you have the application go ahead and open it up, the first thing you want to do is paste the URL from YouTube of the video you are looking to grab. Once you have the URL, click get video. You’ll notice a progress bar and this is showing you how long it’s going to take to download the video from YouTube. In this instance I’m downloading the video about the Rubik’s Cube. Once the video has been downloaded, you’ll notice that you can modify the file name. At this point you can shorten it or rename it to whatever you desire.
Once you have the video downloaded and you can save it as a wmv which is what’s playable in Windows Media Player. The next option is the save it for your iPod, you PSP or your iPhone and that’s the popular MP4 format.
For your music lovers you can download music videos from YouTube and convert them to an MP3 and then import them into your MP3 player so it’s a great way to get free music. In this instance we’re just going to save it as a video. So I’ll go ahead and click that, notice to put the file name and now we have a progress. This is telling you how long it’s taking to convert the file.
After it’s converted the file you have the option to open the file folder so now you have a list of all of the files you’ve downloaded and converted into a wmv from YouTube and that’s how easy it is to download videos from YouTube using TubeTilla.
