As you can see here, here is a new edition for switch. On the side, you see we have combined all our colors together. So this is the 12 volt, here is the 5 volt, here is the ground. Basically, all we do is bring all these wires together. You can have much higher ampere. The only thing about this is to get the run. You will see if I disconnect this right here, it will not start up. It will just kind of just sit there and go off. See, you have to have some type of load on it to trick it to actually get the thing that those actual computer or some type of inductive load. But right here, we are just using a live bolt from a car automotive. It is blinker and I am using the lower wattage side of the blinker, the one that stays on constant. And, we could get the side actually very bright, probably consumes and get very hot. It is consuming 100 but if you used to see, I will just hit the switch. Here we go, our light is on but basically, we are just using this light here to trick while the keyboard is running. What we are going to do with our ATX show projects that is using the 5volt and it is rated at 5volts at 32 amps. So here again, we are at another considerable advantage.
And this was brought to attention by a friend of mine. He is on YouTube. He had printed this document out for me. So this is what I reference to. This is where we are. So it is very interesting but towering on the side and it says that we have 5 volts, 32 amps and 12 volts, 17 amps. So we are not actually going to use the 12 volt right now, we are just going to use the 5volt because we are getting more ampere 12 of it. But, like I said, borrow my wires to one connection so more of a heavier grade of electrical crimp down. You can see where all the ground is in one connection, crimp down. Over here, I could not find a rubber around it so I just wrap a rubber tape and then electrical tape so it is kind of kinky cut. This fits so I use this here and this one like I said is just wrapped at the rubber tip with the tape around it so you do not short it. Even if you file them, I am sure over time moving around, you are going to actually start cutting up this jack over here. So this is it. Very simple and you get yourself any atx power supply and see if it got safety. But, I am just turning back on. Here we go. See, the light goes on. If I pull the light off, you will see the whole thing goes off. That is it folks. Very simple conversion and it works.
