Kathleen Lisson: Hi, I am Kathleen, and thank you for watching my video tasting. It's about 84 degrees, it's 10:30 at night here in Albany, New York. The high was 92 today. It was definitely a sweltering day and the perfect wine on such a hot humid day is why I like to call Summer White. The summer white I have today, is a Salmon Run Cold Brook White Wine. It's Vintage 2006 from the Konstantin Frank and sons Vinifera Wine Cellars in Hammondsport, New York. It's a blend of Chardonnay and Riesling. I had it with a simple fillet of trout. I also enjoyed it after dinner just drinking in front of the television set. This wine definitely smells like a Riesling, but it finishes like a Chardonnay, and I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the mixture feels too great, while drinking the wine.
So if you are looking for great wine on a hot summer night, consider this Salmon Run Cold Brook or another grape white wine from New York, and thank you very much for watching.
