How to Cope with Pimples

Kendra: Hi! I am Kendra from Atlanta. I have been told that popping pimples is bad, because it leave scars, but I can't be seen at school with them. What should I do? Susan Rabizadeh: Kendra, you are absolutely right. You do not want to pop or manipulate your pimples, as this may worsen your acne or lead to scarring. The most important thing is to get on a good regimen to treat your acne breakouts and prevent new ones. In the meantime, however, you can actually try over-the-counter products that have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide in them, such as foundations and concealers, that will help cover up your pimples, while treating them at the same time.
