Matt: Hey everybody Matt and Tamsen here and this ones a touchy one, can a relationship work when the woman meets a significantly larger amount of money than the guy?
Tamsen: Yes. And she might have lots of problem—the guy is intimidated by it, it’s 2009.
Matt: I know but it can be very emasculating. You know, I have my own business, there was a lot of ups and downs, you work for somebody, good to say I’m out of money every single week you know—there has been some weeks where I sort of make money and I wasn’t feeling—I mean like a God. There was a feel like I could take care of things. A lot of guys feel that way, so I like it sort of balance. At the end of the year you know we’re pretty close. See I’m the one who’s counting here. Masculine, male, that’s what we think. But I think it’s really tough. I don’t’ know, I would like it to be close in a relationship ideally for it to work, financially.
Tamsen: I don’t agree, I think that it’s totally fine for women to—look some guys want to stay at home and some guys want to take care of you—
Matt: Who the hell are these guys who wants to stay at home.
Tamsen: There’s nothing wrong with that.
Matt: Mister moms?
Tanmsen: Yes. I know some who do a very good job at it and I told them—just like I said, I can’t wait to hear what you guys out there have to say.
Absolutely it’s okay for a woman to make more than a man.
Matt: It’s disastrous.
