Hey guys this is Ryan and I’m going to show you how to create a splash page in 30 minutes or less.
So, to start off just go to your Internet Explorer or your Firefox put the browser you use and type in Weebly. That will be the first thing that comes up right over here, so click the link and register for an account. Once you’ve registered just go and log in. After you logged in go to the sport up at the top of the plate at the top of the page and click the orange button that says create a site.
Now as for titles you don’t have to create a title right away. If you want you can create it after you’ve already designed your page if it makes it easier for you, but I’m just going to write something random as this is a tutorial.
Now after you have create a title or chosen to create a title later you’re going to be put in the interphase area of Weebly’s website order, and up here in this general area pretty much what it has is whatever you want to add here site you can. So if you want the title you just drag in drop the title and it goes there. If you want a paragraph it’s the same. This goes where everywhere that’s up here except the H channel but I’ll talk about that in a bit.
So for the text of the drag and drop pretty much what you do is you just type it in right away, and there’s some standard type other things up here like you can change a color if you want you can increase the text size you can underline it, italicized it, etcetera.
And once you’re done with that you probably going to write and add or something that if this is a spas page or you’re going to want and write whatever relates to the purpose that you’re creating the page for. And you can just copy and paste this right in like we just see. It’s really simple to do we can center automatically, increase the text size everything like that, but once you’re done with the text of your page then you can move on to design and just have it over each to the design and check that what they look like, and see which one you think looks best with the words that you just wrote down.
Once you’ve decided click the design and click purpose above the top. Now right up here it’s basically what it says it is it’s where about just you just chose the sub-domain for Weebly. And if you don’t really like it because it’s too long you can always redirect it, but once you’ve chosen the sub-domain then it’s pretty much just it’s published that’s where it is too it you can click on the link to see how it looks, and this is it. It just took me just a couple of minute until you just sure obviously you’re going to put a it more thought into what you’re going to say in this area into the title but it’s still a very sufficient, simple way of creating this splash page for your business or whatever that you’re using a website for.
The reason I recommended Weebly is because if you go back to elements up here then as you can see it has custom HTML as well right over here, and with this, this option over here makes Weebly a very good choice for anyone who use more of an advance user website and knows how to edit them custom and for more of the newbie people that don’t really know how to use HTML like me. And they can just drag and drop which is really simple. It doesn’t take longer than five minutes really. And it’s perfect for a nice quick splash page for your business.
