Blue and Green Eye shadow Look
Hey everyone, it’s Jen. Today, I’m going to be creating this look using the Coastal Scents 88 shimmering palette and let me get close to you so you could see them, look. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial. I know you guys have been requesting more of the 88 Palette by Coastal Scents so you ask for it and it’s coming. So you want to know how to get this look just keep watching.
Okay so let’s get started. I’ve already applied my Urban Decay Primer Potion all over my lid up to my brow and under my eye. Next, I’m going to be taking my Maxim’s small brush in three inch and I’m going to be taking my shimmer palette. I’m taking that blue. So it’s right next toward purple where the palette is closest just put in ½ right there. I’m placing it right on our lid. Now going above the crease and just touching in on there so we get that intense look. Give a little bit more. As you can see we don’t really need a lot of this or these colors because they’re so highly different. So we’re going to put it right on their eyes as well, and bringing it in just one-third so just like that.
Next I’m going to take my 217 brush and I’m going to take the green. We’re going to take this one starting from the right, one, two, three taking that up. I’m going to start off that tiny line of crease. Now, I’ve done below the crease and then I‘m just spread beyond the line now, I’m just putting on it and then I’m going to go intense of like being a little bit more, on the shape of your eyebrow just like that. I know this a little crazy right now but we’ll fix it.
Next I’m going to be taking my stiller brush number five and it’s a super stiff bristle eye shadow brush. We’re going to be taking the upper right corner so which one right there, the lightest color on the palette. This little shimmering, just pop it with the brush and then put it with a little bit of highlights and you’re going to use this to blend the colors just right where you’re making then put in just a little. And now we lose some of that cream. It’s okay we can go back and fix it. Just to make sure it’s go up and blended. We want to bring into just a little to create now the eye area line here.
Up next, I’m going to go underneath the eye area and I’m going to take my 217. Grab a little more of that green, same green, put it right underneath your eye. I’m not going in the inner one-third of the eye because we have the blue one there and a little bit more of that. You can make this line as thicker than as you’d like.
So next, I’m going to take my thin line eyeliner in MAC. It’s just a black liner. Put it in inside the rim of my eye. Make sure you put a generous amount on first as well. You can do this just to make sure you put enough on the bottom part and close your eyes really tight. It will get it up there. Now that’s intense but it will get up there. Bringing just a little so we get that just like it’s put off a little bit longer. So just like that.
Next I’m going to be taking the black that’s on the left bottom corner and I’m going to apply with this brush and I’m going to use my 219. Take just a little bit of that.
Apply it right on the outer corner and bring it in on the crease and that’s a good amount and we’re just using this brush to just apply it where we want it and then later we’ll go back and blend it up with the different direction. So that’s good.
Next, I’m going to take my 217 brush and blend it up, bring it up just a little bit and then bring on the inner corner. So just make sure it just turns looking more blended just like that.
And next I’m going to take that thin brush, my 217 and I’m going to take a little bit more of that green. Alright, on the black because we don’t want the black to overpower the green, blend it out where there’s no harsh lines just like that and then we’re going to wipe out any excess. These colors are pretty good so you can’t apply the translucent powder but they don’t really affect me because I already put the setting powder on and they just swipe right where it wear off.
Next, I’m going to be taking the liquid lash liner in Blue Horizon and then put on the base of thick line on this Blue Horizon and we’re going to set on here. Like I said, I am applying a thick line just like that so that we can see those look very nice especially in the light as really catches all that in bright blue that it has.
So next, I ‘m going to be taking my glitter eyeliner by Mac it’s called Lime Dandy and it’s that one right there. You can skip this part if you don’t want so much glitter and I’m going to be replacing out right underneath the eye. Just place a generous amount and if you don’t have this glitter liner you can always just get a pigment glitter and use your mixing medium and apply it.
Then I’m going to take my liquid lash Blue Horizon like that. I’m going to take just a little bit of it, not too much but they have to be black and then put it right inside the inner one-third of the eye, just blend them soft. We can get to a very vibrant color just like that.
Next we’re going to be applying my lashes then I’m going to be using are dark 104, just in right there. They’re very nice lashes and I’ll be right back.
Okay, so I’m back. I’ve already applied my false lashes and my mascara and I’ll be closing so you guys could see the look. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing and I’ll talk to you to guys later. Take care. Bye.
