We are all look out some ring tones so, I’ll show you few ways to create and load ring tones on your Android phone for free. Now if you want to create ring tones from thousand to your computer, check out our website called audiko.net. It lets you upload audio file though their site then you can edit the section you want for your ring tone and download the correct version.
So since we’re talking about Android phones, download the mp3 version to your desktop. So can also use any other application on your PC or Mac to create your ring tone, audiko.net is just a suggestion for me.
Now to get your ring tone loaded, you need to put your phone into USB stored mode, connect it your computer with a USB cable then on the notification, pull down, select USB connected and then select Mount. Your phone storage will now appear on your desktop, open it up. And if you do not see a folder called Media in the main directory, trade it. Then inside of that folder, create three more folders for alarms ring tones and notifications.
Now all you have to do is drag and drop the ring tones or mp3 files you traded into the appropriate folder. Once that is done, turn off and use restored mode from your phone and just connect the USB cable. Now jump it to your phone settings and go to the sound and Display settings, and from here, you’ll be able to set your phone ring tone or notification sound from the files you putted.
Now that is just one way. But there’s also couple batch you guys to check out. Ringdroid is a free app that allows to take a song from your music library. Edit a segment of it, enter it and save a ring tone notification alarm directly on your phone. You can also record audio from its mic to three files as well.
Mabilo Ring tones are also free and it allows you to search for a popular ring tone, download it and then set it. You will not find everything you’re looking for, you will not have any other capabilities and it is now the most stable app but it’s another option.
These are just a few free ways to load your Droid or Android phone with the latest ring tones. I’m Brian Tong from cnet.com with your How To, use it wisely.
