Hi everyone its Jen. Today I’m going to be creating this Kim Kardashian Smokey Eye that a lot of you have been requesting. And thanks to her amazing makeup artist Steven Moleski. I’m going to be able to tell you the techniques that he uses and the colors that she likes to create this look. I know that Kim has a few smokey eyes that she likes to wear but she’s referred to this specific smokey eye as her favorite one. So, I get close to you guys so you can see the look.
And that’s pretty much it, I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial. If you want to learn and how get this look just keep watching.
Okay so let’s get started, I’ve already applied to my paint and bare canvass and this is the same color and paint that Kim Kardashian uses. Except she only puts in on the lid a little pass the crease and not going up from the brow bone up. So I did the exactly that. Next, I’m going to be taking my 217 brush. And I’m maybe taking contrast this color right here and that’s the same one she uses. The same color and you’re just going to be placing this on the outer corner, bringing it in a little bit and then bringing it on the crease. A little above the crease, we don’t want to go too low, and the windshield wiper motion. And just take your time with it.
Blending this out can be a little time consuming, but the end result is really nice. We’ll bringing it up just a little as you can see it in and just kind of start blending that out and as you can see, I went above my crease, just a little, just slightly. And just blending and getting the desired pigment at the same time. Get a little bit more just very intense, okay so that’s good. Later on we can go back and touched up what we need to.
Next, I’m going to be taking my number 5 brush, and I’m going to be taking the nova just glare it here to have a very slightly initial mark. Just very little shimmer to it, place it right under the brow and just place it just a highlight. So just like that. Next I’m going to be taking my 208 brush and I’m going to be getting some of that carbon, which is just that not black color and take a little bit. And we’re going to use as our liner.
So, this is the exact thing technique that she uses as well in her eyes. And just kind of bringing in out a little on the outer corner. You can put some powder under your eye because you do get a lot of fall out. But I didn’t because I kind of already know the – put on here. Since I do this quite a bit this look just kind of take your time of it. So that’s good for now.
Next, I’m going to be taking my Feline and just placing it inside. Form the eye and upwards as well and as you guys know Kim’s eye is very long. She’s got such a beautiful shape in her eye. So since I don’t have that shape, I’m going ahead and bring it just a little on the inner corner just to so it appears longer than it is. And kind to get in there between the lash lines because we’re going to use the excess later. So just like that.
Next, I’m going to take my 219 brush which is this one right here just a blender brush. And I’m going to take contrast again, very little, start off with little and place it right underneath the eye and kind of blend it in Feline. Which is just as smudgy liner, any liner will work, that ones just might favorite one. It is limited edition, so I don’t know if you might still find it at the MAC corners. Whatever you do it’s an awesome liner to work with when you’re doing smokey eyes. You definitely can’t use liner by itself because it will smudge unless you put an eye shadow like I’m right under the eye or wherever you put the liner on. So just like that.
Next, I’m going to be taking my 228 brush, which is just the small shader brush and I’m going to taking my pigment naked which is just a very kind of like nude type of color. And it has a little bit of shimmer to it and I’m just going to be taking a little bit of that, I’m placing it right on here, right on the lid where we don’t have contrast the color and bringing it in just a little and lower as well and then we can always go back an touch up, that’s not a problem. So just like that and as you can see, it kind of took away from the rest of the looks. So you all go back and do is retouch. I’m going to take my 217 again and just retouch it, simple.
So as you can see guys there are few different steps she takes, to achieve her look, but in the end she looks amazing, I’ll take my liner again and I’ll take some carbon and fix the line, so just like that guys.
Next, I will be applying my false lashes and she does use MAC lashes, but they didn’t state which one she used. So they look a like my NYC 9748 they’re just a long and wispy because her lashes are already very long, so I guess she just like some a lot longer and that’s why she wears those types of lashes, but as soon as I’m done applying those lashes, I’ll get right back in to you.
So I’m back. I’ve already applied my false lashes and my mascara and I also applied some MAC Amplified Blankety lipstick just a very creamy lipstick. It’s a little pale on my skin tone. And for the mascara, I use one of Kim’s Kradashian’s favorite mascaras which is Lancome Hypnose and I’ll get close to you guys so you can see the final look.
I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. Thank you so much for watching and for subscribing and I’ll talk to guys later, take care bye!
