Hey guys! YouTube tutorials here, I’m going to show you how you get the Mac OS X Leopard and Mac OS X Folders—Folder Icons for your folders on Windows XP or Vista. So to do this, you need a program called the iColorFolder. If you download the Vista Inspirat iColorFolder comes out automatically, so I’ll just stay here if you have—see if you already have the iColorFolder. So I’m going to search iColorFolder; one word on Google, you can go and download I cool but you can—I’m going to download one from crystalxp.net via iColorFolder. Go to crystalxp.net then save this one. All right
So when you have that, when you go to the site up here—the site here from deviantart.com. So it’s the Mac OS X Leopard skin for iColorFolder. Now when that loads up, go and click on download and there are two color styles, they are the same thing but yeah, this will be going be down a little. It’s a 1.5 MB so that should take about 5 seconds and here it’s on my desktop, so I am going to right click and click Extract here and here they are.
Now when you open them, you just kind of see some icons and pictures, so you are going to right click—right click and cut or you just click Ctrl-x. Now go ahead and go to the iColorFolder which is in the C program files in iColorFolder. C, Program files, iColorFolder, Go to skins and you see the leopard and leopard 2 so I am not going to do that but once you have that—you know what? I am just going to go in here and hold it, move it.
All right, so when you have that, go back and then open the iColorFolder and now you should see two new skins, leopard and leopard2, Vista Inspirat and I have the Vista Inspirat because I have a Vista Inspirat folder. I checked one of them, they are in the both same and it says, use generic folder so yeah, that means default folder for everything if I go to my computer. So you use a default folder for everything that goes, that is what it means by generic. Yeah so I check that, click Apply and click OK.
You can go ahead exit that. All your folders on your desktop might get rearranged and all that but that is okay. So now I am going t o find a folder. For example here is, Camtasia Studio 6. I am going to right click on it and you see a color label, you can click none, it brings it back to a default one, which is like blue but I am going to make it gray, so make it gray. Now it is great. So it changes that and just like that, you do not have to refresh the page or anything. You can click custom and pick from one of these but there, so yeah that is how they get Mac OS X leopard, Mac OS X Folder Icons on Windows XP and Vista and yes, thanks for watching.
