In this tutorial, you will learn how to create multiple Firefox 3 profiles. Click the start button, all programs, accessories, go down to run, type in Firefox, hit the spacebar “-p“, click Ok. Click create profile; click next, then type in your desired profile user name. Click finish when you are done, double click the profile you have created. As you can see, it created a new clean browser profile. Just like the first day you installed Firefox 3. You may modify with add-ons, themes, or any either way you want and none of the other profiles will be affected. If you close the profile you have just created, then open up the browser again. It will go straight to the exact browser profile. If you like to switch to a different profile, go to start, all programs, accessories, run. This should already be in here. In case it is not, just type in again, Firefox –p and choose the other profile. You may have many profiles on your single computer
Each of those profiles may have any type of add-on, theme, or modification done to it without affecting any of the other profiles on that same computer. When you have multiple profiles on your computer, you may not want to go to start, all programs, accessories, and run every single time you want to open a different profile. What you could do is uncheck this and then click Start Firefox. Everytime you open up Firefox, this pops up. It does not matter what profile you choose, it always pop up and give you the choice.
