A lot of people like Amy, you know why do you hate make-up so much, you are a make-up artist. And it is not that I hate make-up, I just think most people use it so incorruptly. It really is there to enhance what you have and really just to feel feminine and to feel beautiful a little bit goes a long way.
I always did the make-up for all my friends in high school. I was out, any income coming up? And like I am going to clip another, still this is make-up and long till it get—it really is there to enhance what you have and everyone that has something amazing that they should be enhancing, make-up is an optical region and it is just kind of there to give your face extra dimension or bringing out your features, it is not there to mask what you have and I think that is the problem with too much make up is then people see the make-up is made out to see you.
Every girl has that picture right you know from 1989 or is just this old picture where they are wearing a dark lipstick or really, really dark eyes, horrible pick blusher, something bad where they are just wearing too much of something. I think that if you keep it simple, you keep it classic, you keep it clean, you will just be happier with yourself and you are one hot off, like yourself when you look in the mirror and not see, “Oh my gosh, my eyeliner smudged so the rest that you can wear just more flawless you look”, the younger you look the better you look.
So being a make-up artist I care more about skin than make up because I really think if my skin looks good, I can get away with wearing very little foundation and just—I can get away with wearing less. So you are starting out your day and wake up and make a stretch then you get out of bed and then you wash your face, whether it is in the shower or you know it is the same blusher face then you hydrate, so hydrate would be with the moisturizer.
You can tone your skin but if we are trying to simplify things wash your face, put moisturizer on and then always sun screen, which a lot of women do not see as a necessity everyday but it really, really is.
Cover up the blemishes and last thing I ask is, do not put on the tan but get a concealer, take a little bag, gather it with your finger, cover up and you can dust a little bit of powder over it or something like a liquid foundation. Okay, so now you are here, just get it even and now you are going to add a little bit blush so I always take this like a natural shade but makes you quite pincher cheeks, because back in the day that is another’s keep way with pincher cheek, so like when you awake, you know wash.
For your eyes, I always wear a little bit of eyeliner and mascara, I always concentrate a lot on the lashes because that is what is going to really open up your eyes and your face and then I guess filling your eyebrows which a lot of women do not deal. And the reason behind curling your eyebrows is to help paint your face, you are blond, you would like to fill them in just to make them a little bit darker to give you a face, it is a natural thing.
After the eyes and the lips, eyewear is a glossy chopstick, or glossy like lip balm just because I do not want to be sticky all day, all that same moist and then that is it. Throughout the day, I put a little bit of powder to skin if I am shiny and I always have my lip gloss with me that is my five minutes to out the door.
Now, you could kind of hide the things you do not like, and most importantly you should just embrace what you do have and make it you know, use it to your advantage.
