How to Create That "Purple Pop" In The Garden

[Music Playing] Welcome to this week’s tips segment here at GrowingWisdom.com. My tip for this week is to look for things that are purple. Now, why purple? Well, everything is very green this time of the year, there is plenty of green in the garden but there is not a lot of purple, this is a purple Sand Cherry Tree here, so get about to be 8 feet high. Really great plant for full sun, these other plants which are purple, you have got Heuchera, you have got your things like your Japanese Maples, you also have purple Smoke Tree and what they will do is to really sets themselves apart, they will create in area of interest within in otherwise very green garden. They also create color where they are not flowering and that is the other great thing about purple plant, you are getting color all season long for the times the leaves come out come out until the time they disappear, the other thing of course to do of the this time of the year is to weed, well always talking about that, keep ahead of the weed, it is tough but even if you spend an hour of week weeding, you have definitely thank yourself later on.
