Hello, what’s up guys? It’s Marques Brownlee from MKBHD here and welcome to another HD tutorial. Now you may not notice but in—actually on videos on my last tutorial but I changed my mouse to look like just a little diamond you see there in the light of the background. So what I’m showing you now is how you can actually change your back—or change your cursor to be whatever you can draw. So what we’re going to do is just open our internet browser here and you can go to any popular search engine. I’m going to type in icon art. And the first would be kinler.org and icon art which we just scroll down real quick. We can download and install the free version of icon art. And there is a $10.00 paid version but you know it’s not really that much of difference over the free version.
So what we’re going to do here, now that we have it, it’s not really we’re doing a video on the installation but once we do the installation process e will come out with icon art up here. So here’s icon art and we just close this. So basically here icon art, we can make whatever we want, we can draw what cursor you want to make and I’ll show you how to create a cursor and set it as your cursor.
So you can see here and mine is dot. If we just want to make the cursor a circle and with a plus sign in it and this will be are—it would be basketball with a little pointer thing, I don’t know whatever you want to make it. So once you made your curser and you want actually set that as your curser, you’re going to offer slowly, you have to save it on the hot spot. So like in a regular arrow curser that tip the arrow was use to click. So to set that hot spot we’re just trying to go to this little, this little set hot spot right here, tap it and just drag the hot spot to what you want to be. So if you want the middle of the ball to be the hot spot or the tip of the pointer to be the hot spot use that.
And there we’re going to the file and save frame as cursor, just click that and we’re just going to name it and I’m going to send it in my desktop real click we’re going to say a basketball cursor. So we’ve named it and you send it to the desktop there goes. And a now that we’ve done that, we can ex it out and were going to go head and set it out as our actual cursor. So let’s go to start and control panel and it’s work for obviously this to NXP. So we’re go to our control panel and we go over through the mouse button, double click mouse and your mouse window will pop up and other way you can access as many as you just open up your stripe menu and type in mouse and the search box and the first thing is Microsoft mouse. So then we’re going to click pointers and for your normal like pointer or whatever you pointer you want us to be. Just at the browse button and choose your file, the desktop to find the cursor, basketball cursor. Hit apply and hit OK. And look at that my cursor is now basketball, it’s pretty cool right?
So yeah, it’s work 100% Spyware and no Addware or nothing, it’s just perfectly fine. So yeah I will use this. I change my curse. I always wanted a dot cursor and I was looking up ways to actually use the dot curser or create one, and that work for me. So I hope this was a helpful tutorial.
