Meriel Bradley: Today, we’ll be looking at landscape designs using elements that incorporate low maintenance green materials. There is nothing better than a perfect outdoor living space and this can be achieved with any budget or design style. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence but stay with us as Robert Hodichak from Artificial Grass and Landscaping show us how to be on the other side of that fence. You’re watching DailyWeb TV.
We all like that perfect outdoor living space but sometimes we need just a little bit of guidance and inspiration. Now, Robert, you’re here with us today. Do you, as a company provide inspiration and guidance?
Robert Hodichak: Absolutely. Actually AGL has its own inspiration center.
Meriel Bradley: Oh.
Robert Hodichak: She give me the opportunity at any time of the year to come and see many elements of landscape and help you in your decision making on what you wanna do next.
Meriel Bradley: So, what’s in that inspiration center?
Robert Hodichak: Well, of course we have the artificial grass
Meriel Bradley: Right.
Robert Hodichak: We do offer concrete ideas even the use of other material such as artificial trees, artificial mulch and even artificial stone.
Meriel Bradley: So you’ll help somebody coming in go through all of the steps of the design process in terms of what they need and what they want to achieve?
Robert Hodichak: Yeah. Many people have different ideas and different designs they just don’t know how to lay it out or to put it out.
Meriel Bradley: Right.
Robert Hodichak: We have a network of designers that we work with that we can help and assist our customers.
Meriel Bradley: That sounds great. Now, I know that as a company, you’re very much into very proud of being environmentally friendly and green. Do you do other than the artificial grass? Any other green material and you also mentioned the mulch.
Robert Hodichak: Yeah. The artificial mulch is actually made also of green material, it’s recycled. You don’t have to put it out year after year. You lay it down once.
Meriel Bradley: Right.
Robert Hodichak: It keeps its natural beautiful color.
Meriel Bradley: Right.
Robert Hodichak: Also, some of the stones and elements that way are also made from recycled concrete.
Meriel Bradley: So the stone work that you do is also artificial?
Robert Hodichak: We can give that opport—option to the customer.
Meriel Bradley: Wow. Well, so that also helps the again, the environment. What about different design styles?
Robert Hodichak: Well, design styles—everybody has their own ideas as I mentioned and we can neither give you a traditional style but what AGL takes great pride and is actually thinking outside the box and giving you something that you may have not seen with the materials that we use. We can actually give you some of that California look up north here…
Meriel Bradley: Wow.
Robert Hodichak: Where you just would not be able to use it in this natural environment
Meriel Bradley: So, that little tastes of paradise…
Robert Hodichak: That’s great.
Meriel Bradley: Without having to fly there?
Robert Hodichak: That’s right. That’s right.
Meriel Bradley: What about budget because everybody is walking with a different budget. Is there something to help everybody?
Robert Hodichak: Yeah. Once again, that’s what we take pride in, you know, we understand people having budget constraints.
Meriel Bradley: Right.
Robert Hodichak: So, it’s either if it comes in phases of the design, we could give elements to, you know, meeting the customer’s needs or you know, using different types of materials. There is a wide selection out there and we can give the best one to meet the customers’ budget.
Meriel Bradley: Right. And I’m assuming because you’ve got these low maintenance materials, you can do a design for a low maintenance—a clad that wants low maintenance?
Robert Hodichak: That’s right. You know, we can almost give a full backyard with a customer and the customer will never have to touch anything in it for a very long time.
Meriel Bradley: Other than going out and putting the long chair there?
Robert Hodichak: That’s correct and sitting back…
Meriel Bradley: And sitting back in the light or sitting on that nice plush grass.
Robert Hodichak: Correct. Yes.
Meriel Bradley: Well, thank you so much and if you want more inspiration, you can contact the experts at Aglgrass.com. I’m Meriel Bradley and you’ve been watching Dailyweb TV.
