2008 Music Awards: Britney Spears. This is her look for make-up and if you want to know how to do the hair look, you can actually click in the box or right down here, right there and you can see the hair look as well. Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing. I’ll talk to you guys soon. Goodbye.
First you’re gonna coat your eye with the Painterly Paint pot by MAC and I'm going to be using a synthetic fiber brush. This one is Laura Mercier and you’re going to put this on from your lid to brow. After your paint pot, you’re going to take the color grifter, this one is by Urban Decay, this is a cool palette where you can get the color separately as well and if you don’t have the color grifter you can use a lilac color or any kind of lilac color essentially. I'm using my 239 and I'm going to pat this all over the lid.
Next, grab your 217 and put that into the color scene, tap it off and this is going to go in the crease. Start off with a very light hand and then go ahead a little bit heavier. Grab some silver pigment by Mac and you can put this pigment on with your 217. We’re going to go really, really lightly with this and we’re going to put that right there. In the inner quarter of the eye, go and paint it with the same pigment, the silver pigment. I'm going to use a brush like this, really tiny, thin, synthetic brush and I'm going to put that in the corner and the bottom of the eye. Go back with your 239, take the grifter because as you’ve noticed we lost a little bit of purple and I’m going to tap that on just to warm that up again.
Now with your 224, I'm using Jesse’s Graw cosmetics, I didn’t have the numbers or they’re not named, that’s weird but this color, its the really nice white pearl essence, it have like a blue shimmer to it and just with the residue on the cap I'm going to load that unto the 224 and put that on the brow. I hope you guys can see that, it's really cool. And now with your filling eye coal by Mac, I'm going line the water line and after the water line I'm going to put a little bit on the side, the outer third with a flat eyeliner brush again, it's synthetic just because if you use a regular natural hairbrush your color really affect the pigment and stuff like that but in the pencil it wont move as well. Essentially just smudging this right into the lashes, medium silver and I'm ready to do the same thing on the top. Notice I never pull out when I do my liner because if you tilt your head back it’ll give you that flat space. As you can see I only went half way over, still with the flat liner brush, I'm going to pull the color over.
Now I'm going to put on mascara, this is smoky lash by Make-up Forever. After you put your mascara on, I'm going to put on individual lashes and these are ones by Make-up Forever. They come with clear glue which is actually really awesome glue. There’s another one that come with like this metallic, iridescent color glue, don’t laugh at these eyelashes, shut up. This kind of glue, where it's like iridescent and stuff, are those hot shit, right damn! You should have a look at those things but anyway, I’ll show you how to do the individual lashes, it's really simple. So if you don’t know how to do the regular strip lashes, this is probably a lot easier for you, follow along with that. I'm going to zoom in a second so you can see.
The way you want to take these off is like this, you want to surround them by your tweezers, and then pull them off. Usually you’re supposed to take this glue and put it a flat surface that won’t allow it to stick. This case, I'm putting it on a plastic jar, you don’t need a lot and I'm keeping it on, and I'm scooping up and you can see as they start to get the glue on it, there’s like a little clear ball that ends up on the ends of them. You take that, blow on them, again you’re going to tilt your head back just a bit by areas you want to put them on, pop them on the lash and there you go. That’s what you’ve got to do.
Usually I would say don’t touch them, let them sit and dry for a second or two but obviously as you can see you can’t even see where they are. So that’s how to do the lashes and I'm going to put on some carnation, some blush and lip stuff and then you will see some photos. Bye guys!
So now I'm going to put on some foundation, I’ve already prepped my face and I put on some Pores No More by Dr. Brandt, that’s a magnifier, so essentially if you go into bright lights, Poly and other stuff like that which hopefully someday I will 637, if you go in the bright lights and what not, your make-up wont melt off, so great stuff and it also minimizes pores and no shine.
For foundation, I'm using Make-up Forever, HD foundation, its fantastic. I always apply number 110 by the way; I always apply it with the brush because it goes on a lot better. After foundation, I always apply my concealer just because if you put the concealer on before your foundation, it's kind of worthless because you’ll just rub it off anyway. I'm using Mac Sleek Cover and this is in the color NW15, I'm going to put this under my eyes, on pimples that I have and there.
I'm going to set my foundation and concealer using the HD Hide Up Illusion Powder, this stuff is fantastic. A lot of people have been asking to do a review on it but there’s really nothing to review about it. It’s amazing, it's 100% silica, and it’s great. It makes your face feel and look juts amazing. I'm also going to put on some bronzer, and in this case I'm using Intermix by Smash Box.
For cheeks, I'm going to be using Sun Sear by Face Farm cosmetics because on picture she looks like she has a really bronzy cheek. I'm only going to use a little bit of this stuff because its mineral and using a lot would make you look ridiculous so a little bit goes a long way.
For lips, I'm going to be using the High Impact Lipstick in the color sequin by Phoebe Cosmetics to give it a little bit of ice because her lips look really, really shiny on this picture. I'm going to be using Sugar rim, down to the glass.
Last but not the least; I'm going to high light my cheek bones because hers’ are very, very shiny. I'm going to be using Starlight by Stella, with a bug fluffy brush. I'm going to highlight the cheek bones.
