Female: Well welcome to our segment, What Matters Most with our life coach Dieter Pauwels and for the past couple o months we’ve been focused on different physical and spiritual aspects of our lives to improve the quality of our lives right Dieter.
Dieter: Yeah correct yeah.
Female: We have sort of these puzzles about all sorts of stuff and we started with the importance of posture right?
Dieter: Body language. Non-verbal communication.
Female: Right, how to be present in the moment so you’re not thinking about the past or the future. The importance of being confident, attitude intension, what you’re believes and values are. We’ve covered all the stuff for the past few weeks and what it means to have goals. How to let go and bringing passion and purpose into your life and every time we say all those things, we said that none of that will happen unless you take action.
Dieter: Action.
Female: Right and before we talk about this final component of the puzzle. What do you mean when you say it’s important that you know clearly without a doubt. What you want to create in your life right?
Dieter: Yeah. It’s important to have an idea with visible of what that outcome for you would look like in the future, even a sense of self image. Imagine that you buy a jigsaw puzzle and you have a clear idea about what the puzzle would look like once completed because you’ve seen the picture on the box. It will be easier for you to put all of the pieces of the puzzle together. So we start with what? What’s the image, what do I want to create or change or achieved in my life and then we can start aligning the pieces that we talk about the last couple of months.
Female: Right, because the final thing we’re talking about is commitment, right?
Dieter: Commitment, yeah.
Female: Commitment, it’s that the big one and you can't commits a things, we don’t have everything align is that what you’re saying?
Dieter: That’s correct, yeah.
Female: All the other things that we mentioned a prior to this.
Dieter: That’s correct, yeah.
Female: Okay so in order to commit, you got to put it all together and you say it’s not a choice.
Dieter: Commitment it’s not a choice. It goes beyond choice. When you are fully aligned, when you’re fully committed action will always follow your thought. There is debate. There is no doubt in your minds. Imagine I’ve never met a mother who had to decide whether or not she would feed her baby.
Female: Right.
Dieter: It is natural but we don’t think about that natural state is being commitment. You know we think about will power and so fort so. If you think about commitment in the following way, when your minds, your logic, your thoughts or aligned with your belief system and you got feeling if that’s align, it was like a full body. Yes commitment is another devotee.
Female: Why but that you have to make the choice to say okay now I’m going to commit because everything feels like it’s aligned?
Dieter: No the choices about what you wants. That’s what the choice comes in. Once you aligned, the components and you have that full body yes, you cannot not to take action. It becomes inevitable. So what happens when people are procrastinating, I don’t believe that people are lazy to just out of alignment. We need to find what is the components that is not in alignment like you go to a—
