Roxio’s photo project assistant makes it easy to create collages for use in a scrapbook as wallpaper on your computer or for printing or emailing to friends and family. In creator, click photo and then create projects. Photo projects assistant opens. All photo projects have three steps as you can see from these numbers.
The first step is choosing a template. Click the collage folder and the desired template now, that you can start from scratch by using the blank template.
For this project, I’ll use the family album template so I’ll click it and then next. To change the title text, click the text to make it active and then type the desired text.
Note that you could adjust the font, color, size, alignment and other values with these controls and drag the title to any location in the collage.
Next, add your photos. Note that you can use a maximum of ten photos. Click Add photos then navigate to where you store the photos, select then and click open. Once, inserted, you can move the photos around freely. Resize them, it will and rotate them.
Use these controls to move the image forward and backwards in the collage and this control to adjust transparency or you can let photos project assistant shuffle the photos for you which lets you quickly evaluate a range of creative possibilities.
Choose the options for the program to adjust while shuffling and then click shuffle photos repeatedly until you find and arrangement that you like.
Then you can modify that arrangement as desired.
If any of the photos need simple edits, select the image and click the pocket editor icon or just double click the image to open the edit dialogue.
Here, you can automatically adjust color and exposure, crop the photo, remove red eye, adjust the brightness, contrast, color saturation manually, and rotate the photo.
Note that the edit dialogue creates a copy of that photo and doesn’t modify the original. Click OK to close the edit dialogue.
When you finish editing your photos and arranging the collage, click next to produce the collage, you can email the collage, print it, save the project or bring it in to photo suite to add text, graphics, or customize it further, including any additional images if desired.
