Hi everyone, thank you so much for watching. This is going to be a tutorial on a purple, lime green and black look. It was requested by a Paz R90. I'm sorry if I didn’t pronounce that correctly. She wanted a look for her fashion show so she wanted really, really dramatic which is what I'm going to do. So I'm just going to go over what I'm going to use first for my primer. I'm going to use the MAC painterly pink pot. And then for all over the lid color, I'm going to use this violet by Chelsea’s Girl. For the crease, I'm going to use the deep truth as well as some black. And then over that I'm going to use this neon green, lime green color. For the mascara, I'm going to use the plum potion by Physician’s Formula. As my base, the Sephora shadow stick. For the waterline, this wild white pencil. For the upper lash line, this Maybelline liquid liner. For the inner corners and under the brow, I'm going to use this mix shadow in white. And that’s it.
So I hope you will enjoy this look and thank you very much for watching.
Okay so the first thing I'm going to do is apply the MAC painterly paint pot using this concealer brush by actually it's a full coverage brush by Bare Essentials. Next I'm going to use the Sephora pencil for my base and I'm going to apply that all over my lid.
Now I'm going to take the violet and apply it all over my lid—
[Demonstration]
Now I'm going to take a Q-tip and just clean it up so that I have a nice clean line. So the way that I'm going to be doing this shape is it kind of looks like an S b it's going to be really high up over here and then it's going to go down and then back up over here. So it's kind of like an S shape.
[Demonstration]
Now I'm going to take deep truth and I'm going to very carefully pat the crease. And then as you're going up to the inner part of the eye, take I higher—
[Demonstration]
Take it up really high and bring it to the bridge of the nose. And then take it out and burrowing it up. So after applying more of the deep truth, it should look something like this. and since the deep truth doesn’t contrast with the violet as much as I wanted to, I'm going to take some black and just so that you don’t overdo it, dip the brush on the black and then just dip it into a paper towel once and that will kind of take off the excess.
I'm just going to take the black now and just cut the crease even more. And then I'm going to blend it in with the deep truth on top.
[Demonstration]
So now after blending all of these all the way in, I'm going to take this neon lime color. I'm going to apply that right on top and I'm going to blend it in with the deep truth and the black. I'm going to take that color all the way in.
Now I'm going to take this fluffier brush and I'm just going to go side to side and blend these colors a little bit more. Just for some extra blending, I'm going to take this small crease brush and just blend the covers together. And now using the same small crease brush, I'm going to apply some of that matte white right under the brow. And you should only have to apply it on that part of the brow. You shouldn’t have to apply anything there because the shadow goes all the way up to the brow.
[Demonstration]
So I'm just going to apply it over here and then just blend it. Okay so next I applied some tape and you want to apply it so that you can bring the lower shadow all the way up into that wing. And we want that really nice sharp line there so that’s why I applied the tape.
And now I'm going to take the same crease brush that I used and I'm going to take that same green eye shadow that I used on top. I'm going to take that same eye shadow and apply it on the bottom. Okay well since that green is not very pigmented, as you can see I'm going to take the mixing medium and spray it right on the brush. And I want to take that green and bring it all the way out into that wing.
[Demonstration]
Just like that. Okay so now I'm going to take that matte white again and I'm going to apply that using the same small brush. I'm going to apply that on my inner corners, bring it up that crease line and just kind of blending it in especially on the inner end. And that’s kind of going to create that point.
And then of course blend it in very well with the purple—
[Demonstration]
And take it all the way down to the green—
[Demonstration]
Next I'm going to take a white liner and line my waterline with it. Now I'm going to take the liquid liner and apply it on my upper lash line. I'm going to take it all the way out to where the green and the black meet. And now I'm going to apply these really fun purple lashes and then I'm going to apply some mascara on my upper and lower lashes.
[Demonstration]
So this is the final look. I already applied the mascara on the upper and lower lashes. And I also applied some more of the liquid liner above the lashes just to kind of make it look like the lashes are as close to the lash line as possible. And my inspiration for this kind of an S shape on the crease is Kathy. And I met her on MySpace because I just recently opened a MySpace account. So I saw her on MySpace and I added her as a friend. And that I got to see all of her amazing pictures. She’s a makeup artists and she had done a look that has this kind of shape and I just thought it was absolutely beautiful. So she was my inspiration to do this kind of a look. And I'm going to her link on the side so you guys can check her out because her looks really, really are amazing.
So thank you all so much for watching. I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial.
