Kitty O’Neil: Ninety percent of all gifts are wrapped in the car.
Jennifer O’Neil: That’s no way to wrap with beautiful present that you just got sitting on front seat of car.
Kitty O’Neil: And then reaching under the seat trying to find the scissors and the tape.
Jennifer O’Neil: Very frustrating. So we’ve come out with some good tips and tricks for how to wrap a present on the fly.
Kitty O’Neil: And one of our favorite ideas is the Gift-Wrap Car Kit.
Jennifer O’Neil: So what you need is a gift wrap station for your car.
Kitty O’Neil: We found this great campus totes that’s meant for scrap booking and the nice thing is it has a zipper that goes all the way around so your wrap and ribbon and supplies won’t be flying all over the car.
Jennifer O’Neil: Wait until you see what we have stashed inside.
Kitty O’Neil: Look for tote with great big pockets. We left how this is see-through so we can see all our accessories inside.
Jennifer O’Neil: And look for one with a three ring binder and some sleeves to put your gift wrap and tissue in.
Kitty O’Neil: Start you car kit with all kinds of gift wraps. Look for one set that are masculine and feminine and do not forget your tissue. Now here are some of the key ingredients you need for your car kit. Of course you're going to need tape and we’ll have this handy dandy tape strip dispenser. You pull off one piece and it’s already cut.
Jennifer O’Neil: And of course you need a small pair of scissors.
Kitty O’Neil: And make sure you have permanent pen so you can mark on any surface.
Jennifer O’Neil: And a mini-stapler like this one is great for attaching anything to your package.
Kitty O’Neil: Look for time saving items like this pop-up box. All you have to do is put down the ends, pop your gift inside, close it up and it’s wrapped then you just tie a ribbon on it which is good to go.
Jennifer O’Neil: The key to wrapping gifts to the last minute is to be prepared.
Kitty O’Neil: We love these beautiful boxes? They’re so pretty and they look like the part of a gift.
Jennifer O’Neil: When you see large gorgeous boxes like this, snap them up whether you have gift in mind or not.
Kitty O’Neil: That’s the key to being prepared and being able to wrap the gift in 60 seconds.
Jennifer O’Neil: These little take-out boxes are great.
Kitty O’Neil: They’re handy and they are not expensive. They looked so much cuter than a gift bag.
Jennifer O’Neil: If you like they come in solids and prints and all you have to do is add a bow.
Kitty O’Neil: We’re trying to think of a way you could wrap a present like in a snap.
Jennifer O’Neil: So we figured out the 60 seconds or less method of wrapping a present.
Kitty O’Neil: It’s only two cuts for scissors.
Jennifer O’Neil: And two pieces in tape.
Kitty O’Neil: And no folds at all. The first thing you do is cut the paper one piece. That’s the exact width at the bottom. Then we’re going to tape the paper around the box. Then we take that second piece of paper and we just wrapped it around the box and tape the end. And that box is wrapped but it needs a ribbon.
Jennifer O’Neil: We’re going to do a simple knot with the wide ribbon just like this and that package it looks gorgeous.
Kitty O’Neil: In 60 seconds or less
