How to Create a Kim Kardashian Inspired Look
Hi I’m tuned in to the Kim Kardashian look today, this one is a little bit different to the one’s we’ve already done and it’s a little bit more for signature style and it’s a little bit more Smokey, it’s got a heck of a lot of black in it and I was requested to do and it Kim look after the last one they’re naughty or nice. So this is it and I’ll show you what I did.
So first of all we going to put base on the just on the lid and we’re using an eyeliner, now this is going to make any eye shadow put on the top really dark which I’m going to be using black. So for the eyeliner I’m just using this one by a coastal scents and I’ve got to say it’s the best gel eyeliner I’ve ever used. So what I’m going to do is just take a little bit out and pop it into a palette then I’m going to use a synthetic brush and I’m just pushing my eyeliner under the brush then I’m patting onto the eyelid and would just couldn’t keep it in the eyelid, it doesn’t need to be perfect but just to kind to get that shape.
Take quite a stiff brush and just blend that out just like that and then on top of that I’m going to pop some black Matt eye shadow, it doesn’t have to be Matt eye shadow, it doesn’t have to be Matt I mean I can use to avail one. Just any black or dark eye shadow and I get a fluffy brush and just blend that out a little bit more.
Then the brows, Kim has quite dark eyebrows almost black. I don’t think the other— and don’t thing the odd is fully black what I’m going to use is Mac’s Espresso with an angled brush and I like to start from the middle. We use the very tip, the point end of the angled brush and just do it very light thin brush strokes in upwards direction. And when I get to the top I just pull in across.
Now I want to go back over that with a light torch of black eye shadow just to make them look at a little bit darker so now I’m going to use that same synthetic brush with the eyeliner and we’ll just going to go on underneath. We don’t need too much at the moment then if we get really creamy pencil liner this one’s by Stellar and the reason I’m using a creamy one is because it blends nicely and I want to push it into the lower lash line as well the waterline. So we going to take it over the upper lash line or first of all when we do the crease and for that I’m using like it’s called gray brown and it’s by Gosh and I really like this it’s got a shimmer to it.
And just going to load my fluffy brush, and I want to work into the crease, now it’s not totally blended so it’s going to still look a little bit messy. For the lower lash line I’m going to use a really short brush but it is very firm it gives it must of control and just tipping in your Gosh eye shadow and I’m smudging into that eyeliner and I’m gently pulling down as well.
Now I’m going to go back in with the Matt black eye shadow and I’m using the pencil brush and I’m keeping the eye shadow really close to where the lashes are because on the picture I’m looking at Kim’s lower lash lines seems to look quite glossy I’m going to use that same Stellar eyeliner and just go over that just because weather it be in so creamy at least what a glossy finish and for the outer corner I’m going with the brown and let me use Mac Twinks. It’s got a little bit of red to it and it’s kind of like a burgundy brown and it’s got a flex of gold in.
So if you just stick to the outer corner just blend in circles, now I’m going to need the corner by taking the cotton bud and the water a Fix +, I’m just using Fix + because it’s the closest thing to use at the moment and then I’ll quickly go back over with my foundation brush. When I curl my lashes I put a false on so I’ll do that and combine.
Put the lash on and I’m not put any mascara on the lower lashes just because it’s so Smokey that you probably wouldn’t able to see it anyway because I haven’t got long eyelashes and so I’m missing them out. What I’m going to do now is quickly show you how a scope the cheeks on this side contour it. So I’m using it on angled brush, I’m using it a Matt bronze and come from the outer corner towards my mouth and stopping around here. Came always contours the cheeks and then this picture and they’re really contoured so. I’m not going to pin down either I’m going down take enough so I will just pulling down all the time then I’ll put out just a blend.
And to get that peachy glow that she’s got enough picture I’m using Mac’s foolish me well what’s left of it. Just lower the tip of the brush this is just my blush of brush and the space that we got in concentrate on if you feel your cheekbone underneath the cheekbone that’s where the contour is to make a look like a hollow. On top of your cheekbone that’s where the highlight goes. So that’s a highlight, that’s the contour so in between that’s where the blusher goes. So it’s just those face there and some people like to always put their blush around the upper of the cheek as well to be honest I think it depends on the shape of your face because if you got a very round face for instance and you put blusher on the upper of your cheeks then it’s kind of just making your face look rounder and for me personally I like to keep it mainly here.
That’s the face and the eyes doing and on my lips I’ve used a lip liner by my face cosmetics and it’s in nude that’s probably my favorite nude lip liner and I’m using a lipstick by Nars, it’s called Velvet. Its got quite a peachy tone to it and just some clear gloss by Mac on the top so that’s all I’ve used and enjoy this look. Bye.
