Hey what up! It's Chris from Full Aperture. And today, I'm going to show you guys how to make panoramic photo with a couple of pictures you already have.
So, we’re going to use this photo and we’re going to go down to the scripts. And instead of opening a regular layer like from file, you go to scripts, load files onto stack, and then from there just go ahead and open all the folders that you're going to use in that same panoramic and Photoshop will automatically stack them for you for the same file.
Now remember, if you have a slow computer, keep in mind that this is going to be awhile because if you have big files and a slow computer, you might as well grab a Snickers because you're going to be here or awhile.
Alright, my file is ready. So now, I'm just going to go to the layers and show you guys that they’re pretty much stacked on top of each other without any kind of modification. They're just pretty much layered on top of each other and in correct order at least.
So now, what we’re going to do is we’re going to go down to the layers menu, select all of the layers, go to edit, and then we’re going to come down to auto align and then we’re going to select to align and Photoshop will take care for the aligning for awhile. And again, typically a slow process, so give it some time and come back in awhile.
Awesome! Photoshop finally finished whatever it’s doing. Now, we get this image that has been stitched but if you notice closely, I haven’t zoomed in on this, but if you look really close and you probably will on yours, too, you’re going to see that there are seams and they’re going to be pretty renowned. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to auto blend them now, so be sure all of your layers are selected, go back up to edit. And this time, we’re going to select auto blend layers. And what this is going to do, it’s going to calculate automatically where every edge on your pictures is and it's going to select the best colors for it, soften it up, and it's going to make the hard edges pretty much disappear. So again, this is another process that takes awhile, so be patient. And whenever it’s done, it will just show it by itself.
Now if throughout this video you're completely lost and have no idea what was going on, then I’ll probably start making some more basic tutorials for everybody who’s barely getting started on Photoshop. Alright! So the Photoshop finally finished. Now, if you can look closely, all the hard edges that show where one picture ends and one starts have all disappeared.
So now, what we’re going to do next is select our crop tool and we’re going to turn this into our tailor image. But before that, be sure you merge all your layers, so go to your layers, select them and hit merge or whatever you’d like, just put them all altogether, and then you can start cropping in a rectangular shape.
Now, if you don’t crop them after you merge them, you might get like these little jigsaw puzzle-looking lines, so they look pretty ugly and we don’t want to get this. So, let's crop and your done, so there it is! Go to file, save as, give it a name, put it away, and there you go. That’s it, that’s as easy as it is. It’s just time consuming pretty much, but you're ready to send it to your mom, your dad, give it to your dog, put it on your fringe. And that’s pretty much it.
