Welcome to celebrate your life, celebrate your home. I am your host Melissa Galt, an interior designer, lifestyle guide, and the author of Celebrate Your Life, The Art of Celebrating Everyday.
In this segment, I am going to share with you a tip on how to remember your parties long after they have happened. For those of you that aren't entertaining because you haven't got your draperies up or your new sofa is not in, you know what, if your friends are coming to visit your draperies or your sofa, you might want to consider getting some new friends.
This is my party wall. I actually have friends who have been to my parties on a regular basis, and when they come over to each party. They check the wall to make sure that the last party picture up on the wall, sometimes I am a little late getting those up.
But it's a lot of fun to do this. You want to have frames with multiple openings to make it easy to slide in and out. These came from Aaron Brothers, you can look at the Bath & Beyond, any of the big guys out there or catalog companies like exposures.com is another great bet.
But the key is to keep the pictures the same size, these are all 4x6s, and then just to mix them up and the beauty with these are is that this can go either vertically or it can go horizontally, depending on the pictures that you have. So it's very flexible, very easy.
I have literally got 10 of these on this wall. More is better in a party, and it's a great way to keep up with your friends to remember the great times you've had together. You can include family on the wall if you want to, but I like to make it just about friends and parties and celebrations that we've had.
So remember, the frames with multiple openings make it easy to update the photos, more is merrier. And celebrate your life, your home with your own party wall. That's it for this segment of Celebrate Your Life, Celebrate Your Home. Live well and beautiful.
