Hi everybody, actually today I'm doing a request from my husband, it is the Poison Ivy look and right now I'm starting off with wearable light green by Bare Essentials using all over brush, really big fluffy brush. Then, now I'm going to be using Mildew by Urban Decay.
So pretty much what I'm trying to do here is to get the Mildew color by Urban Decay into the hairlines which I’m going to have like that, dressed into the contrast. Right now I'm also applying Graffiti by Urban Decay. I'm just trying to give it that nice contrasting look and here comes Chris showing me his new sneakers and jet stick. It's pretty much what I wanted to do. Now I'm starting with Shady Lady by Benefit or Shadowy Lady, something like that just to give it a lot more contrast look into it.
So pretty much right now I'm using my kabuki brush by Bare Essentials, just to give an all over effect, all over shading and blending with the four colors that I’ve used.
I'm now going to apply Peachy Keen by Mac, a blush. We’re just going to blend it in. now, I'm applying cream eye shadow in the color white to give it a lot more highlight. I actually did this on my eyes and right over my nose, my cheeks, as well as my cheek bones, and my chin too. And now I'm taking a smudge brush I got form Sephora for $14.00 and I'm using Shadowy Lady, the darkest one. I'm taking a liner brush, it think that’s 216 but I'm probably wrong, I'm really crappy at telling the numbers of these brushes.
I'm now applying Jetso, the Mac shadow for a highlight on top of the brow. And again to just blend it a bit I'm just going to put the Wearable Green or Wearable Light Green by Bare Essentials. Now that color is by Make-up Forever that I'm putting on, I don’t remember the name I think it's called Starlight or Star Dust or something like that. I'm just pretty much repeating what I did on my left eye to my right eye.
Now, as everybody knows this request was for my husband so he pretty much was checking up on me the entire time. As you can see he’s giving me art direction with this look. A piece of paper in his hand is actually a sketch of Ivy that he wanted me to pull off. He pretty much wanted a green for the entire eye but I thought that would look stupid, so I didn’t do it.
Now, I'm lining the eye with shade fluid liner. I'm using the same cat’s eye effect that I did on the Outrageous Orange video just because I kind of felt that it would look really cool with this one.
Now I'm going to contour the bridge of my nose, I'm starting off with Shady Lady, I really hope that that’s actually the names because I'm probably steering you astray. I'm just using the all over shadow brush, now I'm blending it with a blending brush. I'm going to apply more of the Wearable Light Green.
And then I'm going to apply the Half Lash from Mac to both eyes. The half lashes are pretty hard to put on, you just know how to do it but now I'm just using a generic, I believe it is Cover Girl lip liner that I use. And I actually just got the Slim Shine Lipstick and I cannot remember what damn color that’s in but it's fabulous. I'm going to find it I'm going to write it, products that I used. So pretty much I just want to give the lips a really cool conturing and I'm darkening up the outsides and as you’ll see in a minute I’ve put white, the cream white eye shadow in the center just to give it a bit of a pop so it looks like it's really shiny.
And now I'm just applying mascara and this is LashBlast by Cover Girl, both top and bottom lashes. So my husband wanted to get in on the action for this Ivy look. He actually is an illustrator, so if you go to whos.devionart.com, you can see some of his artwork on. He’s really, really good and I think he’s selling one, are you selling the Harlequin, yes I believe he’s selling one a Harlequin piece right now on devion art so, check him out. He’s really, really good. He’s drawing the Ivy on my face using a shade liquid fluid liner and then he is coloring that in with True Gold by Bare Essentials and Make-up Forever, I believe it's in Star Powder of something like that, the green one. And we are done. Hope you enjoyed it.
