How to Create a Stained Glass Eye Makeup
First I’m gonna start off with a clean eye. I actually have nothing in the eye, not even the base yet. And for the base, I’m going to put on Mac Cream Base in White. Just really just clear white or clean white. Always use your ring finger when doing this, just because it applies the least amount of pressure but if you’re doing a client, you’re always gonna wanna use a brush or a sponge. You’re gonna want to get that nice white color all over your lid. Next we’re going to take the Mac Shadestick in Corn, and we’re gonna put this in the corner of the eye where we’re going to after that put the gold. Okay, True Gold by Bare Essentials with the Essence of Beauty brush. Corner of the eye, everywhere we see Corn. And you’re gonna kinda glide it over, just a little bit, so it goes into a little bit over the Corn. When the True Gold has been applied, we’re next going to take another color by Bare Essentials and this color is called Devotion. Devotion is a gorgeous color, it’s kinda like a muted purple, right there. I sound like death. I’m going to use the same brush, not, just kidding. I’m gonna use the Mac 239, this is exactly the same as an all over shadow brush. I’m gonna give you a comparison. This is the Elf brush, that is a dollar. And this is the Mac 239 brush, but really all you need is an all over shadow brush for this application. So, with that said, the 239 is what I’m going to use. I’m gonna pop it into the Devotion, and I’m going to apply that to the rest of the lid, going over True Gold just a bit to blend to so there’s not a harsh line. If you can see on this eye, I created sort of a cat’s eye shape. So I’m gonna try and mimic that on this eye. Make sure you kinda stepping back and look at both of the eyes realizing, you know, the length of one, where it goes out and the length of the other where it goes out, so, you don’t have two, you know, different shape shadow eyes. Seriously guys, I was like drug up on sudoped, on inhalers, coz, it was bad stuff. I had pneumonia before, but I have no idea what the hell this thing was. It just kinda caught me by surprise and it just knock me on my ass, it was bad. I know there’s a lot of people getting sick to. Who the hell knows what’s going around, but, whatever. I’d have a fever, I’d have a fever to. It was like 102 one day, it was the highest it got. I’m going to now apply Sugar Plum to the crease of my eye, just to get it a bit darker and a little bit more contrast. I’m gonna apply that with a 217 brush. And this is the 217, and this is the unmark brush that I got from Avon. These are pretty different, you can see the difference between this one. This one is a blender brush, this one is, this one is a blender brush as well, a lot softer and. Honestly, if I have to recommend a Mac brush, I would recommend the 217 brush, the blender brush and the 210 brush. I mean, you know, just kind of essential. Because you can get any of the other brushes anywhere and it works fine, but, the 217 and the other one is, I would totally recommend those. So I’m going to take the Sugar Plum, and use the 217 blending brush. And in a circular, small circular motions, darken up that crease. I put that on and taken a 224 blending brush and blend these two even more in a circular motion. I’m now gonna take the color by Bare Essentials called Surprise. Gorgeous purple color. I’m gonna apply it with a pencil brush, 219. Making sure to blend the line. Next I’m gonna put in the highlight in my eye. I’m going to take Mac’s color Forgery, very pretty color. Kind of a shimmery, frosted white. Just to go along with the frosted look that we have going on with this mosaic eye. When that is all said and done, we’re going to now line the eye. And we’re gonna line the eye with Mac’s Blacktrack, the Fluid Line. And this is the brush I was telling you about, the 210, the pencil. Very, like, ridiculously thin brush. Get this if you have Fluid Line, it’s amazing. Okay, the sun is coming out. And now I’m just gonna color in my brows. So now I’m just gonna finish off with some mascara. As always, I’m using Lashblast. Okay. And next I’m going to do, lips. I’m using L'Oreal GlamShine and this is in the color Diva. I’ve used it before, and it’s great, the line is awesome. The GlamShine, it’s just so gleaming and shiny, it’s really good. Anyway, here we go. Thank you for all your comments and stuff when I posted the sick video, it really, it was really, you know. It was good to hear all the comments and stuff like that. You guys were waiting for me to do another video. But I do believe that, well, this is kind of a request from my husband, he’s obsess with Poison Ivy. I don’t know if you know Poison Ivy is, but she is a character, I’m dying, can't breathe. She is a character on, or in the Batman graphic novels. She’s kinda one of the female villains, along with Harley Queen, and Catwoman and stuff like that. So, he has requested to do kind of outrageous Poison Ivy look at one point, so. I’m gonna hope to be doing that one really soon for him coz he’s, he’s keep asking me pretty much. Anyhow, hope you liked this video and I will do much more and thank you very much for your comments and thank you for subscribing and thank you for watching and goodbye.
