How to Create a folder on your Android phone
Hi I’m Molly Wood and I’m here to show you how to create a folder on your Android home screen.
Now it’s really tempting to put every single app icon and widget you can think of on home screen here until you’ll end up with disorganized mess that is not any help to any one. What you need now, are folders.
So to make one, press and hold the home screen until you’ll see the Add to Home screen menu pop up. Now choose folders.
There’s some free built options here already like Contacts and Contacts with phone numbers. That’s pretty useful. But you can just click New Folder to make a new one.
Now honestly that hardest thing about dealing with folders on Android is doing that how to rename them. To do that, you tap to open the folder and then press and hold the title bar here until you’ll get the rename menu.
Now I actually use folders to organize all of the games that I download for my son. You can use them for groupings similar apps or shortcuts or built-in contacts. Either way, folders are great option to get easier access to apps without cluttering up that home screen.
First thing on How To, I’m Molly Wood and your welcome.
