How to Create business cards

How to create business cards? Alright, I thought this would make a good tutorial because this is something I do on a regular basis. I just finish getting a wedding client’s package already. I just finish the CD’s and everything just about to be packed up but what I do with each of my weddings is I will pick an image from the wedding. For instance, this image here and I will make personal business cards for them. I crop it to 3.5 by 2 at 250 DPI. This one is already cropped. I took this from an actual 4x6 image and then I’ll just simply just find my logo and drop that on there wherever it is. I’ve already got on its own there so I’m just going to drag and drop it in there just like that and I’m going to pick a color. I’m going to select my logo and just use the paint brush and I’m just going to paint it in like that. And then I’m going to add in my phone number and my website. Now this isn’t showing up as much as I’d like so let’s just see if we drop shot the one there. I don’t like that either and so another thing I want to do, I am going to select this area here, inverse it and I am just going to burn it down and maybe I’ll just have a little bit of color so it doesn’t look that it’s burned. Perfect, just like that and with my logo, I’m going to add a little bit of a level and a drop shadow just like that, font it and I’m just going to throw that on an 8x10 canvas and by holding my Alt key down while I click and drag, I can just make duplicates. Now something is wrong here I can tell already, and that is because that’s right this is 250 DPI and I have a canvass set for 200 DPI so let’s just bring that to 250 DPI and there we go because it should be all to fill a lot more on there and that’s looking more like it. And I will go and merge it visible and I will just bring that over by holding the Alt key and there we go and what I’ll do is I’ll just print that on my Epson and I’ll cut them out and I put them in their DVD case and I give my few extra in an album and what’s they going to do with all these business cards of them, they’re going to hand them out to all their friends.
