Okay so we are coming to the end of that line. And we have one full circle left plus we have two single stitches left in the end. So, what I am going to do is I am going to make sure that I go in from my three at the top like normal. And now we are only creating a semicircle upside down. So, in the remainder this stitch is you get one, two, three and four, you have four stitches left so what we are going to do is just double crochet like you were—like a full circle but stop at the fourth.
So, in this case you will actually have five stitches left on the top of your hook. If I was doing it right, see. And I actually pull through one 20 times. Okay. So, we got five left. We are going to loop, pull through all five and loop and that was the end of your line.
Of course, I am just going to rotate it okay. So, this is the half semi-circle, upside down so we had four. Do you remember that, we had four that we want to do so we want to create—so one, two, and three. So, this is considered one. So, you just keep double crocheting into the starting point.
Okay so, there is four. So, we are just going to single stitch just like we did with the white. And remember that is always three in the rows so that makes it easy to remember. Okay so, now you had a single stitch so you obviously going to have to jump and create the semi-circle going over. And the semi-circle consists of seven.
You just got to remember on the very end, whatever you have done in the bottom section so we did four, you just got to make sure you do four on the top. And you got to make sure you do that all the time because if you mess up and you only do three one time and you do two the next and then you do four, you are going to end up with a really, like a wavy kind of edge and you will not be happy. It will change the length of the two. Trust me I have done that. I have almost done like that and I end up in a triangle once in my beginners time. And I was so upset about it because you do not actually start noticing that until you have gotten too far and too many hours into it. Okay so we got seven. So, single stitch to where it is already single stitched in the last line, for three in a row.
And then let us create the semicircle again with another seven, bring it over top. I would not consider this a beginners blanket but I do have beginners that contact me and said they actually mastered it so that is great for them. It is a really easy one to start understanding patterns and stitching etcetera. Of course there is my seven. Let us single stitch into the next where it is already single stitch underneath, you can see that.
Now, you see when I do the Katherine’s stitch, I do it like more than two colors but two is sufficient too. You can actually do just one color too if you are in that—the pattern will show and just I like how the patterns are very obviously different. It actually separates the circle. It is a really nice to have blanket when you are using multi colors.
My hands are dry as I said before. So, that was number three, four, and five. Okay so we are coming in the edge and there is actually a full circle plus one at the end. So, that was five. So, we are going to do our full circle over top. So that was seven. And then we are only going to single stitch into the last one. And have you notice our pattern already other than the obvious? You will never ever change colors on the one side of your blanket because it always consists of two lines. So you are always coming back and forth. So, always the strings will always be on the one side of your blanket.
And if you look at it, if I pick up the blanket now it is like cushion-flat. You will see that it is flat but an actual factor—you see this, it had tense like a natural roll to it. There is not too many here but it actually has a natural roll once when it gets going.
Let us take our measurement, so after we have done this line we are now down to nine inches. So I think we have gone, we have shrunk five inches just within that, starting that. So, if you are doing that at the end or anything I do in extra long maybe because it shrunk so much and it is because the pattern is tight as I said before and that would be nice and I wish you all the best of luck. And we will see you. Bye.
