How to Crochet Part 4 - How to Hold the Thread and Needle in Crochet

When you go to put the thread in your hands—so I am working behind the camera here so you can see the starting of it. You want to put it safe if you are right handed crocheting. I am not sure how to do that, but if you are right handed, you are going to work it through your left hand. And basically you are going to put the thread in between the last two fingers, here in between your thumb. This finger here is pretty well the most important aspect of your crochet as well as the extension. So if I want to increase the attention, I am going close my hand, so increases extension. And if I want to be looser, then I open it. So basically crocheting is about this hand on manipulating how much thread you need at one time. So that is how you would position your hand and for me, I crochet like this. So use either for flat edge that you can see there. You use that and basically as just the rotation of your right hand in order to make the material. So let us get started.
