How to Crochet a Blanket without Slip Stitching Part 1/3
So we are doing a solid square here and what we are doing is we are no longer slip stitching along when side they could have been showing and you can see that this thing is not a full true square. And the reason for is that every time we go around, we are not actually. There is no start or stop finish so that’s why I'm calling at the never ending rectangles and squares. So we are just keeping going so you just keep going around and around and around and around and we are going to show on hot to do that.
As I said, once it gets a little bit bigger than this, it will settle down and the shape will actually look very good and you will be very happy on that.
So let’s start your material go grab it and what we are going to do is that you just wrap it around your finger twice like so, pull the string over the first, pull the string over the second, and grab on your needle, and just like son we are going to the starting point. What we are going to do now is we are going to chain four. So this counts as one so let’s go three more. so one, two, three and four and what e need to do is we need to create the center point of this so what we need to do is grab the needle and push it onto the very first stitch that you created just like so push it through. Grab your material and this is called the slip stitch because you are to creating a stitch you are only joining it so you got to pull that through that stitch rotating up towards you and then continue to pull it through. I and always leave my nasty finger and my thumb over the center point of the circle and that will help you locate it so far.
Move my finger and you can see it and what we re going to do now is that we are going to create the center barrier all the way around so this will be tutorial number one for the never ending solid square blanket doily whatever you want to create.
