How to Crochet a Diamond Cable Stitch Part 3/9
Okay so we’re now what we’re going to do is we’re going to chain up one and keeping your finger and your thumb in place. So chaining up one and now you’re going to do three single stitches in a row. So it’s the second from the hook so I chained up one so it’s the second, going in it’s just a single stitch and we’re going to do three of this in a row. So that was one going into the next one.
Okay it’s three of these right in a row and now it’s called the picot and so what we’re going to do is we’re going to stick your needle in so this will be the fourth one over so stick it in and do a single stitch, pulling it through and then two and then what we want to do is chain three right now. So one, two and three and just like so, now look at it really carefully, do you see this line right here, it’s the first string there and that string right there, they’re be sticking directly all that you and what you’re going to do is pull it through there and then through there and what that does is it creates the bump in the material, and can you believe I have lawnmower and a plane going over at one time.
So we’re going to do three single stitches in a row and hopefully you can still hear me. So one, you know, last time I did it the tutorial he was lawnmowering too, same guy. Okay so we did three in a row and now we’re going to do another picot. So sticking it in pulling it through, pull through two and then chain three again, so one, two and three and then again right from here sticking it into the bottom and you see how they’re sticking right at your face and just grabbing this two, grabbing your material pulling it through that one and through that one.
Okay and let’s do three more again in a row, so this is how we’re doing our first line, so three single crochet in a row and then on the fourth we do the picot. And I think I’m misannunciating that just so you know because I’m sure I get email in that, so one, two, and three. Did you see it? It’s sticking right up at you, right there and pulling it through and through. Okay and now just keep going so the next three or single. And now the fourth we’re going to do another picot. Then it’s called picot as well. So that single and then one, two and three and then going right back into where you started, grabbing your material putting it thorough and through. And we are going to be finishing off the line with two single stitches.
Okay and then finish it off, so there is that line complete and so you have something that kind of looks like that.
