Hi, today I’m going to be looking at making personalized screen saver using a program called S spot photo manager. First of all we’re going to need some pictures obviously to create the screen saver and what we need to do then is to import the pictures into the S spot photo manager. Then we will go into the screen saver, option in the preferences and there’s an option there to have a tag called S spot.
So first of all, I’ve actually placed the pictures in my pictures folder and this is the folder I want to import into S spot for the treat server. So before we start my advice to you is create another folder, no matter what you call it, I’m going to call mine S spot. Why I advice to do this is because the default input folder for S spot photo manager is basically your home folder. So things are going to be scattered around everywhere, at least this way it could be more organized, so as sake to create a folder, S spot and that is what we call it really.
The next stage, I’m going to open up the S photo shop manager, which is under applications, graphics. Before we do the actual import, I advice for you to edit, preferences, and on import settings you would have to find where your folder is, in my case it’s under pictures and S spot. Click opens, so that is where everything would be imported to then just click close. This stage is to import, just click on this, this will take that across here. Now here on the select folder, just double click anywhere in that area here and in my case, its in the pictures and the file there to be date 2006 folder, right click on the open and as you import them there. Now you click on again to this import here.
Now what you must do now is you must tag all this as favorite, be on your way with a little work on the screen saver. When you select one and hit the shift key down, keep it down, select the last one then let go of the shift key. Right click on here and move to attach tag and we will move to favorites, click onto favorites. That will tag now as favorites, that’s all you need to do. So if you close that program down now, close that, next state you go t system and go to preferences, go to screen saver and if you notice you can be anything here that you’ve chosen before.
And the option you’ll look for is S spot photo, that’s it and they have been imported, let me maximize it for you so you can see. Now that’s all there is to it, okay, so if you’re done with that and you want to remove the photographers. Then what you do, you go to applications, you open up S spot photo manager again, don’t forget the whole tag this as favorites, what you can do is just select them again and just hit the delete key and it will delete from your hard drive and you just click the delete key. It will give you a message, if you remove favorites from the S spot catalogue, all tag information will be lost but the photos remain on your computer and can be imported into S spot again.
So if you just click remove from catalogue, there is a way to remove them from the hard drive but the way I’m showing you, you don’t do that, you’re safe. Okay, that’s all there is to it, so I’ve showed you how to create a personalized screen saver in S spot photo manager and I showed you how to remove it as well. That’s all there is to it, okay, thanks for watching.
