Your Blackberry comes with different themes which are looks such as wallpaper, fonts and menu layout. Regardless of what Blackberry model you have, follow these steps if you’d like to change your theme.
Press the Menu key and choose the Options icon which is represented by a wrench. Scroll down to Theme and press the trackball to see a list of themes. Scroll the theme you want. A preview appears. If you like this theme, press the Menu key and choose Activate. You see the change immediately.
If you don’t like any of the preloaded themes, you can get more from Blackberry’s website. On you Blackberry, use your browser to go to mobile.blackberry.com. Within your new theme, you can customize your look even more.
Scroll to the Settings icon represented by a folder and gears. Press the trackball. Scroll to the Options icon. Press the trackball. Scroll to Screen/Keyboard and press the trackball. The Screen/Keyboard Option lets you customize specific things such as your font and how bright the screen is.
Here, you see all the fields you can customize. To change the font, press the trackball and highlight the Font Family field and choose from the list. Go further down the Screen/Keyboard screen. Highlight the Font Size field and press the trackball to choose a font size from the menu.
Notice that the ‘Quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog’ changes to the font and size you selected. Once you’re done making changes, press the Menu key and choose Save.
You can change other options in the Screen/Keyboard settings list much the same way. When you’re done, you have a screen that fits your exact preferences.
