How to Customize a Drop Cap in Word 2007

You take customize a drop cap in word 2007 to make it really unique to the document that you are working in. In order to customize your drop cap, go ahead and click on the insert tab and you want to click anywhere on the paragraph that has the drop cap that you want to customize. Go up to the text section of the insert ribbon and click on drop cap, you go want to select the last option, which are drop cap options.

It will bring up the drop cap dialogue box, you have your two standard features, and you can either complete a drop cap on in margin drop caps. You can change that if you like to change that, how can you really customize your drop cap is by changing the font. You can choose a font that you like and how many lines you want to drop currently is set to three.

You can see that the drop cap is big as three lines, so you can change this if you like a bigger one. Or if you like a smaller one, I see you can change the distance from the text right now it is right up against the text. You can change that if you want, I've had a little further away. Click OK and you can see the changes made to the drop cap and of course, you can customize that. However, you think looks good for the document that you are producing.
