In excel of the bottom of the screen is what’s called as the status bar and it’s this bar right here. And by default, it has um your ready status, it has some page view options as well us some zoom options, now you can customize the status bar really easily, you just right click anywhere on your status bar and your going to get a menu from which you can select different items. Different ways you want it customize your status bar. The check mark, check marks mean that you are ready have this on your status bar, the one’s that do not have check marks you have the option of turning off where is it there some that are accept by default that you do not want, you can click those to turn them off.
Now there’s a lot of different options here and you really need to try it out and see what you need. But basically anything you choose is going to tell you the status of that item. So for instance if I wanted a status on my caps lock, select caps lock to turn that on and then click my status bar again and it doesn’t look like anything’s change. But if I click my caps lock key on my keyboard, you can see that it tells me the status of my caps lock, hit it again and it’s off.
So there’s a lot of different options, a lot of different things you can have it worth, we will tell you the sum of the cells that you are working in, the min and max uh whether you want to record a macro that’s a quick way that you just click about ordinary court of macro. Lot’s of options do try them out, see what you like to have and it is really easy to set those to customize your status bar.
