Here, well right now I’m going to make a tutorial on Dock Doctor. An application that allows you to change your dock color to anyone you want. So well not really ever what you want there are four kinds but you can look for more in Google. So I’m going to show that. That’s a request you don’t believe one subscriber Tommy, and she recommended the Dock Doctor, so that’s why I’m doing this tutorial. Also I’m going to be showing you how to change these icons for glassy ones or aluminum ones and also these ones, so you can—may you Mac look nicer and everything.
So let’s start. The first thing you got to do—sorry about this. First thing you got to go here to Dock Doctor navigate page. The link will be in description, so don’t worry about that. Just click download DockDoctor. Ones you download it, just look for it, Dock Doctor its right here. So here again I actually choose you have doc style it could be 3D Dock or a 2Dock, the icon options for the application when they are showed at. They could be opaque or transparent in, and you can also disable a password or enable it, whatever you want. Here are the Docks Skins, they are default or black glass, ice cold blue or radiant red then what I have is ice cold blue because my theme is blue but I going to change it to red. So you can actually see the change, then I type my password and the Docks says successfully updated.
So as you can see now is red. So and that’s almost everything, you can also add spacers, let’s space to left, space to right at recent have been stop, and everything. It’s pretty basic application that no needs to more explanation, and I got to close it because that’s everything in it.
Now, I’m going to show you guys to change the folders. The first thing you going to is go to here InnermindMedia.com and go up to the bottom then click any icons you want. If you want the glassy or the aluminum ones, they are also glass this icon for Mac OS X and just click. I’m going to click the glass, so I like it more, just click download now. I have to download it but anyway you just click download.
After you do that then go to this link CandyBary an application that load you to change your icons and everything, so you just download it. Once you download both things just look for CandyBar here and open it and as you can see there’s an option called float dock that you can change it. You change your whole dock and everything, and the icons also. What I got to show you after made that look glassy like this. So what you’re going to do is you copy this and I going to throw to the trash to show you how to make a new one.
Just click here and type the anything you want like glass and once you have it like this, just go to hard disk and look for glass icons they’re over here. Drag all of them and drop them into your glass collection. Once its here, everything you get to this change with the folders, drag and drop them where you want that to be. There’s nothing complicated in it. As you can see it looks pretty much nicer, and I like it a lot. Once you finish them all, I want you finish changing all of them.
You can also download these icons and change them for here to make them look better. So once you end doing this just click and apply icons and it’s going to ask for your password, you just click it, and you have to log out to make this change but I can’t logout because I’m recording about whatever. It’s going to work for you guys. Then once you did this, if you want to get rid of them just go up to CandyBar again and drag and drop off. You can see they are erasing and then click apply icons and everything is going to be back to normal. So well guys that’s almost everything.
