How to Cut, Copy and Paste With the Standard Toolbar in Dreamweaver CS3

There are many ways that you can cut, copy and paste information inside Dreamweaver including the shortcut commands of Control X for cut, Control C for copy and Control V for paste.

Another way that you can do it is by using the standard toolbar in Dreamweaver. If you do not see the standard toolbar which I don’t have it up here then go ahead and go to your View menu, go all the way down to toolbars and then click on Standard. And up here, you have some standard commands including your cut, your copy and your paste.

So, I’m going to go ahead and select what I want to cut and go ahead and click Cut up here and it goes ahead and it totally cuts it from my document. Now, if I would like to paste that back, I can go ahead and click on Paste and it will paste it back. I can also select it and I can copy. So I have a copy of my clipboard and also it left it right here. I can go somewhere else to my document and I could go to Paste and it will go ahead and it will paste that piece of information into another area of my webpage.

So that’s how you cut, copy and paste using the standard toolbar in Dreamweaver.
