I mix drum n bass mostly, but I have been experimenting with hip hop since dnb isn't so popular yet in the states. There are a lot of requests for hiphop music and I enjoy that yet I am more comfortable with dnb. Rap and hiphop can be mixed with dnb or even house music but I run into a lot of problems with bpm. Mainly you don't want to stray away from the original bpm on a rap record because people may not like the song sped up or slowed down so much. DnB is known to be up tempo, so you can see why. Could you do a demonstration on mixing hip hop with dnb? Or explain how you can get around this issue You explain things better than any DJ book out there.
