(Music Playing) get rid of that one first, one, two three, four, one, two three, four, one, two three, four, one, two three, four, one, two three, four, one, two three, four.
Okay now then, there is a very, very big difference that simply, the first one we sampled if I was in to utilize that sample, try to mix that in the music. I fear that I would not be able to because it is not in beat. This one here, I would be able to mix that into the music because it is in beat. Because I have made note of timing, I have been counting and I started my sample at a certain point in the music and I finished it in timing in a certain point of the music. I have counted. What I actually did on this particular CDJ you have a button here and above a button you have real time cue in.
Now, on beat I press that, and I was counting one, two three, four. As soon as I came to the second one then I press out.
Basically then, I had a loop, so we will play it, else follows. (Music playing) now on this particular CDJ (music playing) if you can just see here, we have four buttons. All one of them we have eight, four, two, and one.
At the moment in video two all I will explain about those buttons is when you hit number eight, you will get the sample that you sampled and you will hear that sample loop in its entirety.
When we press number four what happens is it will actually have that sample and it will loop half the sample. Then when you press number two it will quarter the sample. When you press number one it will turn it into an eight. See how she gets an eight for that sample. (Music playing) I mean you can have a messier idea. (Music playing)
This is really number two. There is a lot more to this than being CI very quick keys on this lexes so I find it really, really difficult to retext. I am a hands on person and I find that by messing around and spending a lot of time actually hands on as suppose to reading texts. I seem to learn a lot better.
There is a lot more people out there like me. I am sure there is. A lot of people have said my video is I go on and on and on but I like to try to explain things precisely and concisely as possible.
With regards the loop function I made 10 videos on this all alone. The thing is if I do three or four and you will basically learn what the loop is all about, and that is fantastic. But if I need to do 10 for a lot of people out there for them to finally realize the full potential of the loop function on CDJs like this then so be it.
Thank you for watching and practicing and enjoying this.
