(Music playing)
Then we have on side, that side together. Now, there, we got a lot going on, we can see here. So what we can do, if we take a bit of the bass off this one, there are less frequencies going into the actual mix. So now we can incorporate a little bit more to give it a bit more a mid filling.
And what we could do now, we can put the bass in here, slowly take the bass off this one (demo)
Alright now, one thing, I have got to say which is quite important. I do see if we can pound down here. I see loads and loads of DJs, now I am going to pause it, doing this. That, like that, now fair enough, if the actual PA system is quite low, because at the end of the day, if it is not that loud, it will not do much damage but, let us have a listen to this, a bit of quite high, let us just go forward a bit (demo)
Now then if you can see there, we are going in to the red. Now, right there, it means over. Why the reason it has got over there it is because it is actually over. There is too many frequencies going in to there. Now no only where it sound clap, but it is also is a very good chance, you will start knocking with your speakers and guess what, you would not have any sound so, it is always an idea to keep this way up.
And that is the bass, maybe go to about 1:00, you can go to 7:00, there is no problem, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, maybe 1:00. You mid, you can go low here to 7:00 because you are reducing and when you go up here with mid, you can go a bit higher because there are still you know, nasty frequencies in the mid but you are not going to lock up speakers as much as this goes.
But then again, you can also knock the mid ring speakers. So just be wary. Same with treble, you know, you can go a little bit high with treble but, again, you can also go low with treble because you are reducing it, so, mainly, the bass is very important because a lot of DJs do like to have loads of bass. So, if you are going to use bass, maybe half 12, 1:00 like so, otherwise, rang it down, there is no need to have it, okay?
So why I did that, a bit of a transition from the one track to the other and it was almost like in the middle of a mash up.
We will start this one off (demo), alright, now this really here, CDJ400, you can hear that speeding up, press it once ,it will slowdown, start again.
Now also with this, when you are in vinyl mode, if you notice, if I touch the side, it will literally just speed up and then it will slow down but, watch what will happen if I actually touch the top (demo), it is exactly the same as touching a vinyl turntable. If you have not touched the vinyl turntable, if you touched the top of the vinyl, lot of practice moving, you can scratch and like, here is the deal, there is no digital sound there or so whatever.
Alright, what we will do, we will stop this video and let go of this one and then I am going to give Brian an actual, a bit of tutorial on the internet of the CDJ400, what it can do or so much what it cannot do because this guy is going to be playing this and hopefully we are taking him into a gig, thanks.
