How to De-seed Vanilla Bean

Ani Phyo: I am Ani Phyo. Welcome to another episode of Ani’s Raw Food Kitchen. So, here is a vanilla bean and I’m going to show you how to de-seed this. It’s going to be really easy, we’re just going to slice it down the middle and then scrape out the seeds inside and that’s what we’re going to be using in our down the whole recipe. So, we’re just going to slice this lengthwise with a sharp knife and you’ll see inside when you open it up, that’s full of seeds, which we are then going to use a knife or a spoon, something flat and just rub the seeds out. So, these are your vanilla beans, so this is what we’re going to be using in our recipe.
