DOUBLE UNDER PASS
The next pass we are going to work is the double under pass, very similar to the single under. We are going to go under both legs; we are going to stack our opponent up, alright? So we have our opponent's guard, I am going to gain a good posture, grab his waist band and I break his guard open. Now when I do this, I am going to reach both of my arms under his legs. I am going to stack him up and by that I mean I am going to take all of his weight and all of my weight, I am going to stack him up. I am going to drive all my weight straight down on his shoulders; so I am here, I lift up, driving it down. Now either hand, I am going to use my right hand, drives across, it goes right to the floor on the other side of his head, and then just like the single under pass, I push him with the shoulder.
One more time, we are here, set this up, I break his guard, reaching under with both arms, stacking him up. I'm really pulling his weight up off the ground, notice his hips, are not on the ground anymore. nice leaning forward. I am really stacking his weight up, driving it down on his shoulders, and I push my shoulder forward, cover out. Look at that from a different angle. We are here, I am going to get good posture, break the guard open, hand comes under on both sides; I am going to use this to lift his weight up, and stack it down on top. When I do this, I am going to drive the shoulder forward, this hand goes on the ground on the other side of his head, if you get stuck here for a second, put your leg right here; now your opponent can't break your base. When you are here, drive forward the shoulder; come down into a side control.
Alright, again, we are in our opponent's guard, hand in the center of his chest, grabbing the waist line, elbow on his thigh, good posture, good base; break the guard open, both arms go under. I stack his weight up on top of his shoulders, I stack him up, push his weight down. I start coming around, I like to stack his knee up behind his butt, that way he can't flatten out. This hand goes on the ground next to his head; I just push my shoulder forward, come forward into good side control. Okay, again, we are in our opponent's guard, good posture, good base, hands in the center of his chest source, break the guard open, both hands go under; when both hands go under, I stack his weight up on his shoulders, here, this hand goes across into the ground, stack my leg up, so he can't straighten himself, drive my shoulders forward, come around into his side control.
Go on the other way, in the opponent's guard, good posture, good base, correct hand position, break the guard, both hands go under, I stack the weight up; when I stack the weight up, this hand goes across, I stack another leg against his butt; now I just push forward, come up into a good side now. That's your double pass in the guard position, work it carefully, but that's definitely one that you need to know about.
