TWISTED CHICKEN WING
Our next mission that we are going to work on, is a variation off the twisted calf cutter, it comes with the setup, the twisted side control. Only this time maybe his clip slips out, or he has got a really strong legs, you are unable to finish him with a calf cutter, then we are going to go straight up and do a chicken wing, that you do with your arms, alright? So, we've got our opponent here, I got a twisted side control, and I lift, I go for the twisted calf cutter. When I sit up though, and I tork him all the way to his belly down position, for whatever reason, I am unable to finish. Let's say that, he slides out here, okay? He is going to bring his arms under and try to be sitting up, that's fine, and slides out.
What I want to do, is make a fist go right down on his ribs and punch straight to the floor, sit up, because I am trying to reach him right here and grab this arm, alright? So, I am here, punch straight into the floor, grabbing that wrist. Now I want to step off and put this elbow, straight to the floor. When I do that, he is quickly going to be trying to get this arm out, he is very, very powerful. So he is going to pop that arm out, just to place it with my other arm, and lift up. If you really, really need help with it, you can slowly cross your hips back over, that's very, very powerful, okay?
On the other way, we are here, twisted side control, I lift and go for the twisted calf cutter, I get him all the way belly down, he goes to try to sit up, because I have missed the leg. I am going to dig straight down and reach in here. When I reach in, I am going to give off the side, that hurts really bad, the bottom part of your arm, that bone that is digging in across the back of his bicep. He is going to really jump off his arm for you. When you do that, you can tap him from here, or you can switch your grip, say I am just hooking right there, and you can cross over behind him, you get a really quick tap. That's a really nasty shoulder lock.
Let me try from this angle, we've got a good twisted side control, go off the twisted calf cutter, we are here, push him all the way to his belly, we missed the leg. He's trying to get up, he digged down in there, grab right here, grabbing on his arm.
Step off, use your arm as a support because he's going to pop that out really quick, dig in and grab his tricep, step over him, main shoulder lock right there, okay? Same angle other side, twisted side control, raising his leg, twisted calf cutter time, but when we get here we've missed it, for whatever reason. He is trying to post up, we are going to dig this fist in, alright, we'll dig in, into this from either side, you dig in, you got to create that poke, I want to take my elbow and put it flat on the ground, right here, that's really going to pop that arm out for us. We'll switch our grip, so that I am here, literally, and take this arm, grab it just like that. When I crossed his body, I will immediately start getting a tap, that's a nasty shoulder lock.
One more time, last angle, we are here, twisted side control, I've gone over, I have rolled him, I've missed my leg also, and dig him with the arm, when I catch it, I step off, rip this arm out, switch my grip, cross my hips, really a quick shoulder lock. Be very, very careful when you are training this, it is a great chicken wing variation to the twisted calf cutter, from your side now or your twister side control.
