Listen, some of the heaviest techniques you can possibly throw and they have great continuity to them is your elbows. Everyone have them and they are really big surface area that hit and they are very hard surface area to hit at a very soft tissue area. The angles you should be looking at are downwards across, upwards across, downward into either a collar bone or if he is on the ground, downwards into the face or stomach. You could also use the elbows if he attacks from behind; bearhug, into the ribs, the floating ribs here both sides and also upwards, again, keeping that elbow nice and tight, upwards to the head. You don't even need to see your opponent or your attacker. He is right there on you, thrust back with the elbow, you are going to hit him, making sure you keep your elbow and the forearm tight together like so. More solid it is, the harder the technique is going to be.
Watch this again. Hands are up here, I am going to grab, either going to grab the hair, I am going to grab the back of his head. Why? We always want head control. Hair is even better. They say, you fight like a girl, fantastic, fight like a girl. Grab that hair and have total control. Now we don't want the head to go anywhere. Why, because we are going to throw an elbow at that space. So what we are going to do is elbow, nice and high. Now feel your shoulder is kind of getting locked out. If it's down like this, this is actually just becomes a shock absorber. We want the elbow nice and high. Going down at downwards angle, trying to come open with the tip of my elbow across the cheek, across the chin or even down into the throat.
Again, hands are up, attack to myself. Grab, slice down. Now look where I am at. Back my elbows, ready to go. Again, for that continuity, continuous motion; back through. Then you are ready to go again. Fight through the other one, just work in a kind of circular-cyclo motion. Again, he attacks from behind, again ribs and then head. Watch with some realistic speed. Hands are up, grab, elbow up and strike. Elbows are fantastic hard, hard technique. I am going to show you just one more time. Again, key points; elbows nice and high, forearm and bicep, tight. If it's loose like this, again it's shock absorber, it's not what we are going for; we want tight. Elbow up, thrusting downwards or upwards on that angle, downwards or upwards on that angle or downwards into either collar bone or if you are on the ground, downwards into the head or the ribs.
Fantastic, fantastic hard technique. Again, make sure you keep in nice and tight.
