Hi! I’m make up artist Debbie Jean, creator of Real Woman Make Up web site. Enjoy my make up demonstration.
Learning to define your eyebrows with high quality eyeshadow is a skill worth requiring. You will need a mascara wand and eyebrow brush with a firm handle and an eye shadow that matches your hair color. Start by brushing your eyebrows into shape using your mascara wand. I like to brush the eyebrows up and then curl them around to the side. Once you’ve brush the hair into shape, and then apply your shadow to your brush. Dust off the excess shadow on your hand and then gently begin working through the eyebrow hair.
You will notice that my model Donna has got dark eyebrows but I'm not dark—I'm not aiming to darken the brow, I'm just aiming to fill in all the little gaps using a very light sweeping stroke with my brush. It’s not a long, hard, solid action. It’s a very light sweeping action. Occasionally, I do touch the skin underneath the eyebrow but I'm not pushing it hard so I shouldn’t blend up with the very painted looking eyebrow.
I know it’s just a short sleeting strip in direction of the eyebrow. The brush that I'm using has an angle and I actually use that angle at the base of the brow to achieve the really nice clean end. And once you’re done, brush your eyebrows up into shape and check for any lighter patches, so the eye closer to me, I've used a medium shade of brown and matte shadow to fill in Donna’s eyebrow and if you take a look at the eye closer to me as supposed to the eye further from me. You would notice that all it gaps between the have been filled in with eye shadow making a more defined and beautiful eyebrow.
