How to Delete Cydia Apps from Your Springboard
Hey guys, how is it going guys? David here, iPod touch 2G geek and in this video, I am going to be showing you how you can fully uninstall application downloaded from Cydia directly from your springboard just like you would any other normal application from the Apple App Store.
Just by holding down the icon and pressing that X button it will delete it. This is how you do it. First, you are going to want to open up Cydia. Let it load all the sources and you should not need to add the source because it should already come with Cydia but if for some reason you do not have, you want to add this source right here big boss and playing an iPhone.
The source is APT.bigboss.US.com/rebofiles/cydia. I put that in the video description to the right keys. You can catch that. And then once you already have that source in make sure you refresh your sources and then go into search. That want you want to do is search for program called side delete. I will be right here to save by big boss in playing the iPhone. You want to select it and then what you want to do is select install.
Finally, select confirm in the upper right hand corner and I’ll just let it go through the process. It shouldn’t take long at all to install as you can see here it’s already done. And now what you’re going to is just let it finish reloading the data and everything. And once it’s done you’ll see it say restart springboard. So you are going to select that and it will restart your springboard and it will come back. So as you guys can see I have restarted my springboard and I do have the application terminal here which almost all of you should know. You can only get this from Cydia.
So now what I'm going to do is take my finger and hold down the icon and now you’ll see here, wait for this to load. I cannot see it that well but I do have the X right on it. So now what I'm going to do is just select that X and you’ll see it’s processing. All right guys so there you go. As you can see it says delete terminal and it says deleting terminal will uninstall mobile terminals.
What I'm going to do is select delete and that will say uninstalling and now the icons are gone. If I go into Cydia, go into packages and then install packages, you will see it is no longer there. So thanks guys for watching. This is really simple to do. Please remember to rate, comment and subscribe, see you later.
